Unbelievable value

This restaurant fills up later in the evening at about 10 pm. We managed to get a table on a Thursday night without a booking, but we were the first diners, at about 8.30. Visited, without booking, for a midweek dinner, after strong recommendations from fellow guests at our Pension and good TA reviews. The dining room is a touch funky and very welcoming. The walls are filled with art posters, from Monet to Pollock, and there are art books for each artist on shelves below. There is great modern jazz playing in the... More

Marvelous meal! We enjoyed the food - ox tail, steak, fish, and a vegetable dish that was excellent! Dessert offered the best choices. Spanish French toast was a favorite. All was accompanied by red or white wine from country vineyards. Try it, you will like it!

We came for lunch in the low season and only the tourist menu was on offer, however there was a large range of choices compared with other other restaurants 18 Euros. The restaurant is modern, with art posters on the walls. Our host carefully explained the menu. We were not disappointed. In particular, the vegetarian options were very good.

We came to this restaurant as a group of seven with a preset menu by the chef. Nothing routine or by the book here. Each dish was creative, innovative and most important, unbelievably tasty. From the watermelon gazpacho to the puff pastry duck to the spinach ravioli and on, each one better than the rest. Our group had a contest... More

I was in The Morgan Kompany last month during a vacation period that included visiting many of the restaurants in town. I must say that the quality-price relation is fabulous; moreover it presents a combination of local and international cuisine that for once hits the nail on the head. Add to it a fantastic service and very amicable staff, mixed... More

Surprised by the modern arty decor we were not quite sure what to expect but need not have worried. The service was outstanding but unobtrusive. The selection from the menu of the day was really good and well explained. The food when it arrived was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Remarkable were the warm goats cheese salad, the slow cooked... More

We passed this place on our first night in San Sebastian and stopped by for a glass of wine and some pintxos. It was sooo great that we decided to have dinner here the next evening. It is a faboulus place with a very good selection of excellent pintxos and a very good Å la Carte menu. We started with... More

Visited this place whilst on holiday in August. Proprietor (Georg) was excellent in terms of helping us with detail of menu including options of gluten-free. Food was fresh, flavoursome, well presented, and good portions. All-inclusive menu of 3 courses and wine is good value for the quality. We enjoyed it so much we returned for a second visit and it... Sparkling ambiance, with charming pictures everywhere, but oh so noisy. Still, worth it for the splendid food. Helpful service.
