Good food and nice atmosphere

Late lunch 31st of December. Were treated nicely, even given a bottle of white wine for free! Food was not the best we ever had in Spain, but still very good: chipirones, habitas con foie, lamb chops and the solomillo con hongos y foie.

This is one my favourite pintxo bars in the old part. I love the "croquetas" the foie toast, mushrooms, oh oh so many of them. If you are going pintxo hopping, give it a go, definitely worth it and well priced as well.

Out of all of the many bars in San Sebastian this is the one I remember the most. We went downstairs for the set lunchtime meal and it was such good value for money and the food was superb. We didn't go back later on for pinchos but it looked lovely when we passed on the way out and we... More

At Munto we had the foie gras with grape puree, gundillas peppers (if you like sour foods I suggest you try these) and sidra, a Spanish apple cider. The cider is best poured at a height of 30cm to aerate the cider and enhance the natural carbonation.

We went here with our two young kids (8 and 3). The server was friendly and very helpful, explaining what each pintxo was made up of and giving details about the ingredients. Our pinxtos were delicious. We would definitely go again.

Stumbled upon this place by accident in one of the many streets of the Old Town. They seemed to be serving food long after everyone had closed so we popped in for a drink and a selection of hot pintxos which were all very traditional but tasty.

During my group visit to San Sebastian, I was told I had to experience Pintxos. In the states we would call Pintxos very creative appetizers. The toppings are different from day to day made of the chef's imagination and choices of the freshest sea foods and vegetables a top a sliced baguette. The food was really tasty, the prices were... We happened on this little pintxos bar which was very busy as we passed . We walked in as a group were leaving, so we had an instant table opposite the bar. We ordered some drinks so we could observe the process. Unfortunately, the waitress spilt a glass of rosé over the counter and on to our clothes. There was... More

It is difficult in San Sebastian to find a poor Pinchos bar as the standard of all food is excellent. That said the imagination used here is second to none. A massive choice of very different foods on the counters. The Pinchos here are stylish and unusual. Try the Lobster in a shot glass or the hand smoked cod! We... More

The bar was filled with locals having pintxos so we thought we would try the restaurant which is downstairs. Although there was only a Spanish menu the staff were very friendly (and patient). The food was very good with several seafood options on the fixed menu list. The restaurant filled up quickly which gave it a relaxed atmosphere.
