Small joint located right at the start of the old town if you're coming from the river, no thrills place with cold beer and good food.

Seeing as everyone was raving about their pintxos, it only seemed fair to make a visit. We were greeted by a crowd of Spanish men behind the bar, all friendly who handed us plates. There was a huge variety of flavours from sandwiches, seafood and cheeses. We waited until 8pm to go and eat (as that was recommended on TA)... More

This little bar is easy to walk past, but it's well worth a visit as the bar literally groans with lovely dishes. Some of the pinxtos have won local awards and they are served up with pride. The deep fried artichoke was fantastic and all of the anchovy dishes were great. It's not a fancy place, but is extremely friendly... More

Loved this place. Tasty pintxos in a laid back atmosphere. Has a bench otherwise is standing. Have the one with the goats cheese which is the special one and is excellent

If you only have time for one Pintxo bar in San Sebastian, then this should be it! A visit to this charming, but slightly scruffy bar just outside the Bretxa Market in San Sebastian will give you the opportunity to taste some very good pintxos and good but cheap wine. The pintxos were varied and so tasty that there was... More

We went to Bar Gorriti on other Tripadvisors recs and we were not disappointed at all, in fact we were thrilled! This is a mega local place, loud, busy, and small but don't be put off - the food was fantastic and the staff up to the challenge. The pintxos were plentiful and very tasty and the drinks were too. This... More

We stopped by Bar Gorriti for a quick pintxo on our first full day in San Sebastian...easily found - just outside the main market. Great variety on display. Even if you have no idea what you want, just point and ask! We had the jamon and brie with a refreshing glass of wine. Highly recommend!

My fiancé and I only arrived in San Sebastián a few hours ago and couldn't check in so we went for a wander. After wandering around for an hour we accidentally stumbled into this place. How lucky are we? All the pintxos are amazing. I love eating the fresh fish in the morning. We also had some beers as we... More

This place is cheap and great quality. All of the bartenders are nice and missing multiple teeth. The location is amazing, and it's surprising that the customers aren't more obnoxious. The pintxos are very good, especially considering the prices. All of the garlicky, tuna-fish, artichoke, olive type pintxos are 1st class. This place gets a LOT of turnover. Great wine... More
