I happened to visit the café while walking on Paseo de La Concha. The Café has a wonderful location and is overlooking the sea. The food is amazing. This is one place where you can get excellent Burgers / Sandwiches...etc with plenty of options for Vegetarians. The bar offers one of the best Gin n Tonics in this area served... More

This place has class, and at a lunch cost of 21euros a pop a real bargain! Wine included. Food was excellent quality and though we ate inside (terrace was full) this was no problem. Highly recommended straight on the Concha beach!

Located on the water in San Sebastián, Spain this restaurant provided great value and a romantic experience. Service was good but not overly attentive and food was very good. Unfortunately, the weather prevented dining outside, which would have been spectacular.

The restaurant looked very nice and we had planned a special dinner for the evening. We were shown to our table by a woman who neither welcomed us, nor did she even smile. We were left menus and disregarded for 10 mins while she passed us 3 times without checking to see if we required anything. Eventually we had to... More

No point in repeating the features on which all agree: location, service and local food and wines. My experience - with a family group of seven - demonstrated the value and quality of one particular menu option: MENÚ LA PERLA * Terrina de foie caramelizado con chutney de higos * Crema de tupinambo con brunoise de setas y aceite de... As a 'westerner' traveling in Spain, I have not yet become accustomed to the very late dinner hour. La Perla kindly seated me at 8 PM (the only diner until a second couple arrived near 9 PM) and the service could not have been more attentive. The food was excellent...from the amazing starter potatoes (you have to love garlic), to... More

We had a dinner reservation for later in the evening but needed to grab a bite to tide us over until then. La Perla was just across the street from our apartment, so seemed convenient for maybe patatas fritas and some cava. Based on reviews and the propensity for food in scenic locations to be less than stellar, I wasn't... More

We visited this resteraunt on a weeknight and ordered from the regular menu. The croquettes were average as an entree, the main dish of chicken was around 70% chicken fat and 30% breast. The dessert was a cheesecake that had a far from smooth texture and strange flavor. This was by far the worst meal consumed in San Sebastián. When... More

Great location overlooking the bay. Just had a couple of beers with snacks with the intention of calling back later in the holiday for a full meal. Hard to get served by inattentive, unsmiling staff and even harder to pay. Didn't return.
