What a shame the waitress spoiled a great meal...

We had a lovely meal and the initial staff were efficient and pleasant. However, around 1630 there was a staff changeover and we struggled to get served. In fact it took half an hour to be served a green tea. The waitress when asked said she was busy serving another table. Her attitude was cool and... read more

We had lunch at Nineu on a Saturday in San Sebastián and just couldn't believe the amazing value we were offered. The restaurant is set in the Kursaal, the city's exhibition hall, close to the beach and the main shopping area. Inside it's nice and simple, yet contemporary. Pleasing stuff. Service was quick and efficient from the start, with a... More

What a fantastic place. Clean and modern decor, open and spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean. It was funny to see surfers walk by with their surfboards! My food was delicious, the waitress recommended the hake and it was fresh and cooked perfectly. The dessert was some sort of foamy bubble thing which was amazing, and then I... More

We came here for lunch and had their lunch menu with a bottle of wine. All the dishes were amazing, well presented, the waiters are attentive, the views are great. It was the best meal we had in San Sebastian.

Six of us went for what proved to be a memorable birthday Sunday lunch. We all opted for the standard restaurant menu which at 25 euros per person, including wine, is amazing value for food of this quality and presentation, service was impeccable. We started with a 'spritz' aperitif, and then we all opted for fish dishes (hake fillet and... More

I had a sit down lunch here this week. The place was busy but service was good. I selected a lamb dish with risotto. Very tasty food and the restaurant is conveniently located.

We went on Saturday for the tasting menu - the venue is modern and easily found. We were a little early as they hadnt started serving (we arrived just after 8) so we waited with a drink in the waiting area. There was a wedding party outside / upstairs (so I was worried service wouldnt be great). The timing of... More

Four of us all enjoyed great meals. Presentation was exceptional, taste amazing. Very creative desserts and a delightful surprise of petit fours, especially the Parma violet marshmallows! We have booked again for tomorrow. Staff very helpful and multi- lingual.

Add another half to the score above! This was a super find as we walked along the beachfront. The lunch deal is incredible value at 25 Euros for 3 courses plus wine, water, olives and bread. Coffee (more like the quality we get in Sydney) plus petit fours was 2 euros! Plus you are looking out over San Sebastián, the... More

My wife and I visited San Sebastian for the first time and were recommended by our B&B to try Ni Neu for lunch. We chose the fixed price menu with wine. The food and wine were very good and very good value and the service was excellent. San Sebastian is lucky to have so many great restaurants and bars and... More
