A break from the Pintxos

We had the set menu for €26 each; we were 2 adults and 2 children. It is in a good location just behind Zurriola beach so easy to find. My two children had the seafood rice dish. I am vegetarian and had the seasonal vegetables for starter - for me it wasn't as great as some of these reviews have... read more

Excellent value for money, delicious food, good service, and a sun set to die for. Couldn't have hoped for more for my birthday meal.

When you want to taste the new Basque cuisine without leaving your wallet in custody, it's a really good choice. Casual atmosphere, nice setting, right space between tables, very good menus, good prices, friendly and international staff.

We travelled to Spain and Italy for three weeks on our honeymoon, and this restaurant was the best one that we went to. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairings and we were not disappointed. Each course was delicious, creative, and a nice portion size. Moreover, we were incredibly impressed with the low price of the meal in... More

This restaurant has a great location and a large and friendly staff. We had a great and copious lunch here. The first course I ate sauteed vegetables, truly supreme stuff. My boyfriend loved the tuna tartare. I also ate the fried heke, a better version of fish & chips I guess. My boyfriend had the lamb he found delicious. Desserts... More

The food was good and the service even better. Very friendly for children. Not expensive. I would go back if I could. Recommended.

This is our favorite sit down place in San Sebastian. Their affordable tasting menus (around 33-40 euro) are perfectly executed and employ innovative cooking methods without flaunting them in your face. The humbly named mixed vegetables with cheese broth was a work of beauty. Every vegetable was handled differently to best show off its texture and flavor. Some were roasted,... More

We had an exquisite meal here in June with four people. We were able to get a same day reservation which was a wonderful surprise! Not everyone at our table wanted the tasting menu so we had to do without. We each ordered all of the suggested 4 courses and loved every bite. The tuna and fillet were super star... More

The setting is very nice but! We had the lunch menu with the €8 wine upgrade and the wine was the only memorable part of the meal. The tuna had a piece of fatty meat served with it which was not nice, the hake was ok but could have been seasoned better and the sauce was tasteless. My partner had... More
