Can't go wrong here!

Just one of the many pintxo bars we found in San Sebastian. I think we had tuna but sometimes the Basque language is confusing:-)

Like most good tapas bars it is standing only. Lean on the bar and get a good Spain wine and go crazy. We tried almost everything on the menu. My absolute favourite was the octopus! A must try. Also the veal cheek was incredible as was the tuna stuffed tomato. My photos don't do these meals justice you will just... More

This place truly stays true to the reviews. Just absolutely delicious. Definitely get the veal stuffed pepper, risotto, bomba rice and the cold tomato soup called salmorejo! Go here. It's busy, but worth it.

We discovered this Bar on wandering San Sebastián and waited a few minutes for people to come and go before attempting to enter ourselves - luckily some space was available near the bar against the back wall so we could make the most of sharing the various pinxtos which we ordered from the menu - on the blackboard. The veal... More

Went there for lunch after hearing about it from a friend. To say that it did not disappoint would be an understatement! Every single thing we had was superb! A must if you are in town!

This small tapas bar in the heart of San Sebastian left us very satisfied. There are minimal bar stools, so be prepared to stand. THe food is cooked fresh and comes out quite quickly. I would highly recommend the ribs and the slow cooked duck. We also had dessert there which was the chocolate dish and it was very rich.... More

We came here after a bad experience with some other pinxto bar, but Borda Berri really lifted our spirits. Brilliant dishes. Fast and of exquisite taste. Don't forget to try the veal cheeks, they're heaven!

It takes you by surprise! Not expensive.....non seating......completely taken. It's even amazing to understand how is it that they make money, because once you order it's all to the guy behind the bar to remember what every body orders. Tapa style (pintxos in the basque country), you keep ordering small dishes while you enjoy wine or beer. Could not have... More

We ve visited couple of dozens pintxo bars and this one clearly stands out. High quality Michelin type food, better than in best restaurants. Better ask the barman to prepare the best of their pinchos rather than pick up ready made things from the bar.

This bar in the old town's main tapas street was simply outstanding. Single plates that you order from a chalkboard menu and eat standing against the wooden bar. Beautifully presented in single portions and expertly cooked with gorgeous flavours. Not the usual bread topped with meat/cheese/fish style - these are hot straight from the kitchen tapas. 2 or 3 plates... More
