This has to be one of my favourite pintxo bars in town. They like it rustic with lots of dishes with cheeks and ear. Lots of rich and hearty flavours. Could eat these all day.

We just finished eating lunch here and have to say that consistent with the reviews, this place is very good. Our favorites were the kebab of pork, veal cheeks in wine sauce, the goat cheese and the stuffed pepper with veal cheeks. The cod tripe was a bit fishy for our taste. During our 2 nights in San Sebastian, we pintxo hopped to more than 10 pintxo bars and Borda Berri ranked high on our list. We've tried their home made foie gras, risotto, roasted octopus and crispy pig's ear. Be prepared to be blown away by all their pintxos!

Didn't have the beef cheeks but the pork rib, cheese risotto and tomato stuffed with tuna were fabulous. Definitely the best we had in San Sebastian. Don't miss it.

There's not much more you need to know other than it's totally worth going here for the beef cheeks (carrillera). They are outstanding! We also had the octopus (pulpo) which was really good, but not my favorite. We went back to have the pig cheeks, but they were closed on Monday night. It appears many of the "great" tapas places... There is Borda Berri and everyone else. Got blown away by the slow roasted beef, curry infused pork rib and the octopus. Fantastic! Place is small you need to be patient but it was worth it.

This place is so good we went there twice over our 3 night stay in San Sebastian. The beef cheeks are to die for, if you haven't tried them, go back there and do it again!! This was the best food we ate in all our pintxo hopping through Old Town San Sebastian. Unlike in most pintxo bars, these dishes are all made to order. Good value and quick service. We had tender Octopus (Pulpo) with pesto, Spanish chilled tomato soup (Salmorejo) and ravioli with squid in its own ink. A refreshing fruity Penascal sparkling rose worked well for both seafood dishes.
