We recommend their speciality foie terrine, but everything we ate was lovely and very good value. (Including the wine).

This place sells amazing food - truly recommended. We had 3 glasses of wine and 8 pintxos and it cost 26 euros. This was recommended by our hotel and we are so happy we found it.

Octopus and veal cheek are my ultimate favorite in this restaurant bar. They don't have any pintxos on display but everything will be served hot and fresh! If you're adventurous with food order the pig's ears and your experience here will even be more memorable. I'm getting hungry already just thinking about all the delicious pintxos they serve here! You... More

the best Pinxtos place we found in San Sebastian. In the old town, not hard to find and always full which says something. Authentic, unpretentious, you have to visit if you want to get the vibe of the town. Delicious pinxtos, dont miss the queso de cabra, or the kebab de cerdo. The only let down is that is it... More

Went here after reading all the reviews about the amazing veal cheeks. The staff were great but the atmosphere was a little 'touristy'. We ordered the veal cheeks and I have to say that they were ok but not amazing. We also ordered the duck which was much tastier. The house rioja was excellent so all in all, enjoyable but... More

This was our second time to San Sebastian, and our first time to Borda Berri. Based on trip-advisor reviews we ordered the veal cheek and no question it was good. Overall Borda Berri was good but not the best in San Sebastian (Cuchara de San Telmo for one). If you're staying in the old-town you will have a load of... More

Going in to the restaurant, we didn't know that we'd experience one of the best pintxos we'll have in our trip. We ordered the carrilleras de ternera al vino tinto (beef cheeks) & risotto de idiazabal. Both were fantastic! Dessert was nothing special. But their pintxos are the bomb! Must definitely visit this bar when you're in San Sebastian.

Attracted by the ranking on TA we ventured to Borda Berri in late December for dinner. Fortunately we were able to secure a spot just inside the door and adjacent to the bar (standing up as everyone was, of course). The menu and a wine list were quickly mad available by a very welcoming and friendly barman and drinks and... More
