Awesome tapas, super vale

Very friendly staff, delicious and spectacularly beautiful tapas and super wine. We got in early and bagged a table, but still worth squeezing in of you can't get one. This is the sort of restaurant you travel to visit. We can to St Sebastian for the food and if we only went here, it would have... read more

Bar Zeruko aims for the more "gastro" tapas rather than the traditional kind and is well worth an inclusion on any tapas tour. There is a wide variety available on the counter - some can be eaten cold but most are taken into the kitchen for cooking once selected - and a further selection available on the blackboard behind. Prices... More

Amazing selection of pintxos. Each one was so creative and intricately made. My favorite was a roast pepper with calamari and ham on toast. Every pintxo bar after this just seemed disappointing although if we had gone to this place last, I'm sure we would have thought that all of the pintxo bars were great.

I would almost rate this place as the best pinxtos bar in San Sebastián. Each pinxto is warmed up and prepared delicately before being served. Their smoked cod and lobster pinxtos are highly recommended.

What an amazing introduction to pinchos! I am vegetarian so did a little research into the best pinchos bars in San Sebastián prior to going to Zeruko. It was recommended on many travel sites and by some locals. The staff are extremely friendly and don't mind speaking a little English if necessary. The food is presented beautifully and there are... The number of tapas bars available in San Sebastian makes it incredibly difficult picking places to eat. It's a nice problem to have - but with limited time, you don't want to make a wrong decision! Bar Zeruko came highly recommended, so we thought we'd give it a try. It's quite a big bar compared to many of the bars... More

Bar Zeruko stands apart from the majority of San Sebastian's pinxtos bars, more modern looking with a cafeteria feel. The food reflects this, it's quite daring and deceptively delicate. We only stayed for 3 dishes as we we were bar hopping and I'd heard about the cod. It's served raw over a tiny smoker that infuses the fish with a... More

A rather small little tapas bar but the food did not disappoint. The servers were friendly and happy to help out by explaining how to select the food and what the more complicated dishes were. The tapas itself was delicious. Each dish was beautifully presented and the flavour combinations complimented eachother incredibly well. If you are hoping to sit to... More

Zeruko had some pretty amazing looking tapas but not all of them tasted as good as they looked. The exception was a large prawn wrapped in crunchy crisps which tasted even better than it looked (went back just for that). There was also a lobster and smoked cod which you have to order as they prepare it in the kitchen... More

The tapas were beautifully displayed but tasted very average. It was a nice alternative if you eat tapas often and are looking for something different but it is not the traditional spanish we were looking for. The food was perfectly edible but they were not the best tapas we had ever had. The only problems were that they said one... More
