I don't know who the chef is but the quality of the pintxos exceeds other bars and restaurants. They have a pintxo with a gelatin base, stuffed with mushrooms and foie gras with fried cheese with copper power on a toast that is delicious (an award winner). They also have a menu of "hot" pintxos. This is not your average... More

After reading some amazing reviews from TripAdvisor, we really looked forward to having some sensational pintxos from this bar. It was tuesday night in April so it was not busy, so we were able to get a table. We ordered several stuff that were mentioned in the reviews including smoked cod, rose lobster and sea urchins. They all looked amazing... More

All the bars we visited served really sublime pintxos but this one is the most creative by far. The bob limon must not be missed and the lobster with rose steam is a fantastic innovation. Great ambiance as well and the price is reasonable considering how much effort they put on each dish. Ask the barista what they recommend best... More

This bar is definitely worth travelling to Spain for (well, and also Arzak!) The pintxos here made it difficult to choose: they were tasty, decorative, innovative and the best pintxos in the city.

I've been here twice (over two trips to SS) and had totally different (but great experiences). The first time we came on a busy weekend and were lucky just to get a seat. We had pincho after pincho. The next time (this time) we came on a Thursday night and it was very quiet and allowed us to more properly... More

Four of us visited Zeruko a few weeks ago for dinner. The restaurant was of course very busy despite it being early (8.30pm) and winter! We were given a typically warm welcome; service was great and patient as we explored the offerings and came to terms with the unique style of ordering/selection and dining. All dishes were terrific, with some... More

When you go into this place and others around el old town, you are really impress by the way they display the tapas and the pintxos. You actually start asking about almost all of them, but overall taste was average and nothing impressed me regarding taste. It is still worth going to them to understand what the pintxos are and... They take their pintxos very seriously trying to offer something out of the extraordinary. Their specialities are: bacalao a la hoguera and rosa bocavante ie cod and lobster (I asked). You have to order them as they are not on Display. The bacalao a la hoguera comes on a mini-grill and you fry the Piece of cod some ten seconds... More

We have eaten here twice. This place is a true temple of the "pinxo" or smallish tapa which is favoured in San Sebastián. There are a couple of tables and it is worth booking. The first time we came we tried the "gastronomic menu" of pinxos, where a carefully choreographed selection is served working up through fish and seafood to... More

Loved, loved, loved this place, definitely a must visit. Order the Rose Lobster - I have been dreaming about this dish ever since trying it! The cod dish is also very special, it comes on a mini bbq with a salad liquid. Also, the staff were very helpful and friendly. It's quite touristy but not expensive, fantastic atmosphere, and the...
