Delicious food and friendly staff

Simple, but really tasty food! Meet, tomatoes, peppers and ham. Everything tasted fantastic! And of course Spanish wine :) Highly recommend!

It's worth noting that there are only 3 things available to order - the T-bone steak, fried peppers and tomato salad. If you are looking for a sit down formal meal, then this isn't the place. If you want to capture the atmosphere of Old Town San Sebastian then it is a must. How good can a plate of tomatoes... More

My friend and I ended up going here three times during our 3 day stay. Yes, the wait (if you want the frisking AMAZING aged beef) is long but worth it. Yes, it's extremely crowded but who cares if you are waiting for their delicious tomato salad and yes, it's impossible to sit without 5 people around you ordering and... More

We only had the tomatoes, but they were amazing. Very friendly staff. Feels very homey. Definitely coming back for the steak we here so much about!

The menu is limited, but that in and of itself is not a problem. The steaks look very good, though definitely too large for someone dining alone. The tortilla was one of the best I've had, the peppers were well done even if they weren't exactly something novel and amazing, and the service was nice. The problem is that this... More

Did hardly get a drink, the food had a loooooong waitning list. The food looked great, but when you need to fight to get it, there are hundreds of other bars/cafes to find great food in San Sebastian.

Small bar in the centre of the old town - that attracts a huge crowd. After seeing how busy this bar was on a previous evening - we decided to get there early. We arrived at around 7.15pm to find the shutters still half down as staff prepared to open. We had a quick vino in a bar nearby and... More

At the small Bar Nestor you can mainly eat excellent T-bone steaks, grilled green peppers and juicy sweet tomatoes. There is only one shareable table (Mesa Nº 19) wich you can reserve from 12:30pm or seat at the bar. The spanish omelette is also an speciality, along with some other pintxos. Nice family ambience.

We finally made it to Bar Nestor for dinner. We chose our meat and 15 minutes later was served with a great plate of steak that was perfectly cooked. We had a side plate of peppers and some vino too. Fantasic meal in the old town. We will be back for lunch before we leave San Sebastian

The restaurant ONLY serves T-bone, tomatoes in olive oil and peppers al padrone (as it is called in Barcelona). Steak was cooked perfectly and is really more appropriate to be shared with one or two others but he polished it off just fine with the help of some wine. The tomatoes were simple but with such fresh ingredients, you don't... More
