When we arrived we were surprised that they had the menu in English, and the waiter also spoke very well and explained us about any doubt we had. We began choosing a wonderful Albarino wine an some oysters fresh and delicious, we were told that they received them daily from Cambados. Then we followed with crayfish in special Rimbombin secret... More

Took my wife out for a seafood meal. We decided to try the Rimbonbin. One of the better seafood restaurants in Bilbao. Everything was absolutely excellent: the seafood, the wine selection and of course the service. The cost of the meal was expensive but Oh! What a meal? Probably one of the best seafood restaurants in town. Don't leave Bilbao... More

On our one full day in Bilbao we tried to fit in as many different eateries as we could. Consequently by the time we got to Rimbombin we were only able to tackle one course each rather than take advantage of the very reasonably priced Menu Ondonaroa, which included all courses, wine etc. for EUR 42. The problem was that they charge you like if you are in a Michel Star restaurant... The restaurant is on a big street and the outside space is not like being in a nice garden... The glasses was... This restaurant offered tasty and variable sortiment of seafood. We ordered seafood platter. First we got many kind of clams on a plate and after that a luxorious platter of different kinds of crabs, lobster and other seafood. For us finns it is difficult to eat so late that people are used in Bilbao. The earliest time to reserve a... More

Sea food is average and the portions are small. We left still feeling hungry and wallet a lot lighter than expected. Ambiance is just ok.
