Beautiful old interior, old world feeling service on the Gran Vía. While charming, it feels a little dated, and I noticed most of the clientele were foreigners. The fresh pintxos we ordered - sauteed mushrooms and grilled vegetables with goat cheese and also with foie were absolutely outstanding. With a bottle of wine and more pintxos than the 3 of... More

If you are tired of Pintxos in the Basque country it is not easy to find a restaurant. This one looked quite nice, and the waiter spoke good English. We decided to take the tasting menu since it sounded interesting. But it wasn't! The most positive thing about it was that you didn't get so much of each course, since... More

On numerous visits to Bilbao, we always stop at Metro Moyua, whether for breakfast or an afternoon or evening pintxo and beverage. Very friendly service.

We were there twice, and want to go every time. The service is perfect, a lot of local people, food is fresh and tasty. The fishes very well done. I'll be back soon.

We sought this place out on the back of the positive Tripadvisor reviews but must have caught it on a bad night as the food wasn't great. A pleasant chap in a shirt and tie said he was full but managed to find us a table at the back near the kitchen. he found us English menus and I had... More

This restaurant was recommended by my hotel and close by. I had lunch there and sat next to the street in a little outdoor area. The ambience was very nice. I started lunch with some seafood soup and it was tasty. It was very traditional. I ordered a steak for my main course and was initially taken aback by the... More

The pavement terrace seems a little uninspiring on a grey windy day, but we were pleasantly surprised by a very well-prepared and tasty meal, served with good humour and professionalism. Delicious asparagus, tender squid and excellent fillet steak with mushrooms, much better than our initial, fairly neutral, impressions of the place led us to expect.

While it is a bit pricier than other restaurants in the city center, the food is always fantastic and gives an excellent example of traditional Basque cuisine. Their tuna salad was fantastic and the pil-pil was also authentic and excellent!

We did not have reservations here during Semana Grande but were able to get a nice table in the back dining room. The service and food was very good though I did have to send my steak back as it was over done. They did a second for me without a problem.
