A thoroughly enjoyable experience in every way. This is a small, intimate restaurant in a convenient location quite near the Bilbao Guggenheim. The service was perfect with high marks to the server who was very helpful in suggesting that I was ordering too much food and that smaller "menu" portions were available. The food without exception was well-prepared and interesting.... More

We had a delicious lenguado (sole), perfectly cooked and paired with finely roasted vegetables... absolutely sublime, original cooking. If the welcome and the place itself were a bit warmer (in style and temperature), this restaurant would deserve to rise to the top of teh Bilbao list.

Excellent restaurant. Superb food, wines and very good service. Timing in food and wine for a group of 12 was amazing. Definitely a restaurant worth coming back to.

This restaurant is famous for its tasting menu. As we had been eating out for about three weeks, we opted for a la carte and were not disappointed. The food was excellent.

Booked this online for a 7 pm meal, and was surprised to see it actually worked! It's just around the corner from the Guggenheim and Gran Domine Hotel, so perfect for jet-lagged new arrivals. Mostly fish on the menu--everything we had was delicious, wine was very good, and were very gratified to see that my husband's business contacts took us... More

I ate here in late April when I town visiting the Guggenheim museum (which is just a few short blocks away). It was a great introduction to the world of fine Basque cuisine, at a fraction of the cost of many other restaurants. The total bill - for the eight course tasting menu and paired wine with each course -... More

This restaurant is a class act. The food was of a very good quality, both in terms of taste/flavour. The presentation was also top notch. We went for the taster menu at a bargain Euro 55 (comparative for taster menus) and found it of an excellent quality. While there was some alchemy (smoking dessert, for example), it was used sparingly... More

We went for the 8 course gastronomic menu what was a really great experience, every plate was served in a different way, once with smoking ice, once within a tin box, once on a cooking plate... every dish was a discovery, special taste from raw tuna fish with superb condiments to foie gras and smoked skrei.... All products were of perfect... More

Not sure what everybody is raving about. Food is adequate and service is professional. But some aspects of the meal left to be desired. Vegetables were not roasted but burnt. A starter sold as artichoke carpaccio was just one cooked artichoke bottom mashed, for 11 euro, mind you. Most produce is of high quality, but the cooking does not justify... More
