This is a contemporary restaurant with decidedly cutting-edge cuisine. We had the tasting menu, which is almost theater as well as dinner. Delicious, and you won't find yourself cooking in this style at home. Located very close to the Guggenheim Museum, easily combined with a visit there. Needless to say, they're used to catering to tourists. Expensive, yes, but it's... More

Being honest, I don't know what else that needs to be said, other than this is the best food that I've had in my life. We opted to have the 7 course tasting menu & each course exceeded expectations. Not only did the unexpected flavour combinations taste extraordinary but each dish was served up in a quirky way to add... More

We had lunch at this place and we liked it very much - food was very tasty and everything was cooked in a special way, our waiter was brilliant - he told us about every dish and was very nice, so we decided to visit it again in evening - and again - everything were wonderful! )))

What a grear place to have lunch. From the starter to the dessert we were fasinated. The service was great and you cant miss the gin and tonic from this place. The only thing is that the lamb is suggested for 2 persona, but really for 3 is more than ok. Will be coming back for sure.

It is a great combination of tradition and invention! Lovely starters and sackling lamb. Carpaccio of artichocs to dye for. Inventive desserts.

The food and service at Porrue was great. They also had a good selection of wines. Absolutely worth a visit.

Loved the place, the Octopus was fantastic and the steak (for 2) amazing! Excellent selection of wines.

This restaurant isn't bad, the food is quite good, and it can be extra fun to go there if you've never seen the molecular gastronomy tricks used before. They do it all: nitro-frozen mousse, bubbling chocolate sauce, cheese capsules, captured smoke and dry ice smoke. However, these showy bits don't really go with the innovative taste combinations you might expect... More

We thought we woud be sending home photos of the Guggenhein Museum from Bilbao and instead we sent home photos of Porrue's prawn and pomegranate tartar served over a citrus mist. The imagination and presentation of the food was every bit as good as the Michelin starred restaurants we have tried. We also liked the little extras... different oils with... More

Wow, we were just knocked out by this place! Everything was fresh...from the sea, from the garden, from the oven. They even served us a martini made from a favorite Scottish gin. I mean, nothing was amiss. The meal was prepared by an artist in the kitchen. Truly. Don't leave without trying the mango mousse & liquid nitrogen. Reservations are... More
