Mina's recently received it's first Michelin star. If they continue like this, it won't be the last! I had the 10 course menu - and it was more than perfect. Don't like black pudding: who cares? It was just wonderful. Mussels? To die for! Foie gras (which I always love): cooked to perfection! Fish? Never had a better one before!... More

Following the reviews we decided to have another gastronomic blow out (after Porrue). Gorgeous interior, very calm and rustic and we looked straight onto the river and the old market on the other bank - fabulous service, and some nice little bits (an extra pudding!) thrown in as well. Thoroughly enjoyed it, but the food at Porrue had the edge... More

My wife had the six course menu and I took the 3 extra plates they offered. Those plates were big enough for the two of us to taste them and the staff even brought extra cutlery. it held some surprises, especially for ourselves. We are usually not so fond of black pudding. Never say that again before you have tasted... More

This great city in the Basque country continues to delight the world with its amazing cuisine. The restaurant is small --so booking is essential. We had the 6 course dinner and wines after which i felt so happy. The night was an absolute pleasure

We had the tasting menu. The food was excellently cooked, well flavoured and the service was excellent. The only thing I would say is that I thought it a little over priced and although a generally satisfactory experience it was not on the same level as other Michelin starred restaurants I've eaten in.

Their menu at €55/head + tax might seem a little pricey BUT all six courses were delicious, beautifully presented by the attentive staff - in fact with a 'nibble' to start and a second dessert included, it was well worth the money and their new Michelin Star is well deserved. The chef imaginatively mixes unusual ingredients and flavours. Do book... More

took the tasting menu at 52E plus VAT and wine per course 20E staff were very helpful and each course was meticuosly prepared and presented it's a sort of middle way, the right way in the tasting menu experience-the food is not too pretentious the staff not pompous about the food but very interesting, good value

A friend and I enjoyed the warm service, atmosphere, and inventive culinary creations. I've had tasting menus at great restaurants and this exceeded them all at a far better value. We liked every course but some were truly exceptional- the scallop and squid as risotto were highlights as was the smoked mackerel. Excellent rustic bread and terrific wine selections made... More

The service was a little gushing, but that apart this was one of the great meals. Actually it was two of the great meals - the first one was so good we went back two days later. It was a tasting menu rather than the full deal. Oyster with salted butter, red curry & balsamic pumpkin, cauliflower cream, glazed veal... More
