We had the 10 course diner and loved most of the dishes. The food was realy creative. Highlights were the mussels in lemon graas and coconut soup and the Mackerel. The 'sea' was also great....frozen seawater, with seaweed and lemon sorbet....wow! The service was excellent, friendly and very knowledgeble. Wine pairing was fine to. The atmosphere is very relaxed, which... More

A fantastic welcome greeted us, a superb, small, restaurant, overlooking the river by the Old Town. We had the 7 course taster menu for €55 and the accompanying taster wine menu at €20. Just incredible value for money. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Michelin star well deserved!

Outstanding restaurant in a beautiful location. This is Spain's trendy cuisine at it's finest. Even if you are not a foodie give it a try as it is a restaurant that is at once very creative and still accessible.

Nice restaurant, professional and pleasant staff and service. The food though - what a disappointment. The new kid on the block, chef Alvaro Garrido, was absent and I don't know if this played a part in the culinary malfunction that I incurred and paid for. I feel a little unkind to bullet point the mishaps but my wife and I... More

Mina blew us away! During our visit through San Sebastian we went to a top notch Michelin star place as well as many local Basque meals. The journey was really about food. When we ate at Mina though we left with a new appreciation for what top notch food is. Chef Alvaro Garrido and his wife are using very creative... More

We were stunned by the complexity and balance of flavours. As you would expect this is fine dining with great service in a very intimate setting. The open kitchen is entertaining without seeming a distraction to the meal. We had the tasting menu with wine matching. There was one wine that just did not marry with dish in our opinion,... More

Head to tail cooking with perfection and flair. Highly recommend for a late Sunday lunch and sit at the counter and watch the chefs prepare. The food was very innovative and the staff is top notch. Casual upscale environment with hip staff who love to deliver the unexpected. Expect a 3 hour meal and enjoy the ride. Two thumbs up.... More

Mina has an innovative menu. The tasting menu of this one star Michelin restaurant is fabulous and an almost perfect standard of cooking is maintained through ten dishes. The appetiser -cod and grapefruit souffle - is awesome. Other highlights were an oyster served with gin and citrics, confited albacore tuna tuna served with aubergine and red tea soup and an... We had the pleasure of trying Restaurante Mina's 14 course menu during the Aste Nagusia in Bilbao. From the moment we arrived at the restaurant everything was perfect - the excellent professionalism of the servers and the explanation about the various dishes and wines. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and we enjoyed the view of the open kitchen.... More
