A nice little Italian restaurant

We went in on a cold Sunday evening late in December. The welcome was warm. We only ate from the main courses. The Pizza crusts are light and crispy. The lasagne is well made and the rice in the risotto is cooked just al punto.

We arrived to an empty restaurant, and were shown to a small table. We asked to be seated at a bigger table, and only following the intervention of a senior waiter were we shown to the requested bigger table. Our waiter who had initially shown us to the smaller table was clearly disgruntled, and the resultant service reflected this. Whilst... More

Centrally located and easy to find, this makes for a change from Spanish cuisine. The restaurant is quite large with a lot of tables, was brightly lit and lacked any atmosphere. The service was OK but unfriendly. The pizzas are on a very thin base (which we liked very much) but the toppings lacked flavour. The experience felt like we... More

We had to wait 30 minutes for a table, but it was worth a wait. Food was good and came promptly, but very little attention from the waitresses. I don't think they like their jobs... A bit noisy for "romance", but a nice change after tapas/pinxtos for several days.

Enjoyed the thin crisdpy pizza here. Needed a break from Basque food and this restaurant did the trick. In good area with lots of lively bars and close to metro which saves a walk home. Waiter opened wine and didn't ask us to taste. Only restaurant I've been too where that didn't happen.Prefer that Staff brought English menus without asking... More

Wow! Maybe it is the strong dollar. Huge thin crust pizzas for 12 euros and pasta with salmon for 14 euros. All the dishes look awesome. Service was fast.

Warm welcome, but the problems started after we ordered some drinks. The waiter just brought the bottle of wine to our table and disappeared - call me crazy but usually they do stay and make sure that the customer likes the wine they ordered. There were many different pastas, you could choose any sauce you liked and combine it with... More

We have eaten at this restaurant this week-end and were pleasantly surprized. We were starving, considering the fact we had been looking for a restaurant for two hours (and not pintxos) after several hours walking around the city. It was more than convenient to have the possibility to eat at 11 PM and stiil be welcomed by courteous staff at... More

We were bowled over here by the good service and the quality and size of the dishes we ordered. The restaurant is brightly lit inside which initially made us think it might end up being a bit "cheap and cheerful" but it wasn't at all. We started with grilled provelone cheese with vegetables, foccacis with dusk ham & cheese, and... More

in short ! A fabulous dining experience with my family at their branch on 55 Gran Via. Food was fresh, delicious and portions..... Substantial ! A break away from Tappas Pintxos and other Spanish delicacies. All portions were excellent, as were the desserts. A restaurant well worth an enjoyable visit !
