Cousy place, Old barmen working like bee, delicious lamb chops

It's at the city centre; nice ambiance. Delicious lamb chops, sauces helps this nice taste also. This is a place for short break to have beverages and aperatifs.

Waiters were arrogant, food was regular. Pomp and circusntance does not replacea decent, honest meal.

We couldn't really fault it; it has beautiful old-fashioned and elegant dining rooms behind a busy standing room only front bar with pinchos. The busy dining room offers a good al la carte choice. We got a table without booking. We had an efficient and friendly waiter but we disliked a rather over bossy maitre d who we thought was... More

Mon-Fri, Menu del dia is such good value. Wholesome local food with great selection & fresh. The service is efficient & professional and the surroundings have to been seen.

It's one of the oldest places in Bilbao. The interior is still authentic, just beautiful. A lot of pintxos for every taste. Good food for not a lot of money.

Very nice, warm place to eat pintxos. Also, this is the only place serving delicious lamb skewers in the city:-) Helpful staff

This is a lovely space to sit & spend time. The bar has lovely old tiles & wooden ceiling with a lovely revolving door. The place has a Moorish design to it. The pintxos are varied & tasty & are reasonably priced. There's a restaurant too but we didn't eat there.

This place is very well known. Great atmosphere and iconic decor. Nicely cooked lamb skewers, and a good selection of wines and beers. Well worth a visit.

Very nice old world feeling to this huge airy bar and restaurant. We met some locals here on a couple of occasions. We ate delicious very tender spicey lamb skewers and a few glasses of great middle range Spanish wine. Didn't eat in the restaurant which was more expensive but loved the feeling and produce in the bar.. A must... More
