Modern

The place is really modern and the service is quite good, the food was tasty but the serving felt kind of small, this is a more gourmet restaurant, the decoration is very modern and the prices are a little bit high.

This place should be so much higher in the ranking for Oviedo! Do try the more innovative dishes here; don't automatically go for the set menu.

I had lunch with some friends in the restaurant during a sightseeing day in Oviedo. Since I'm very interested in the Spanish way of enjoying food, the mix of traditional dishes with fresh, new and very tasty ideas in "Naguar" was impressive for me and my friends. The service and the restaurant itself had been perfect as well!

Naguar is a cool place where you can enjoy wine and food. I'd suggest to explore Asturias tastes. Try croquetas made with Picadillo, hamburgesas, a special ceviche, and follow any recommendation from Pedro Martino chef (to be a Michellin start back in the future). Cangas de Narcea wines, Toro or Galicia ones are unbeatable choices. For desert, the chocolate souffle... More

I feel a bit harsh not ticking the box about is this the best meal I have ever had as I think any eating experience is about the company and the food and I was on business. However the food was good, no very good. The service was friendly and efficient and I think the price reasonable. It has a... More

The food selection is OK if you like set menus. There is very little flexibility and one particular waitress is definitely worth avoiding. It is a shame as Oviedo has great food but eating here is really miserable. We were told off twice for asking about food. Asked to finish in the terrace as they needed the table and basically... The place is always full of people. The martini is really good, and they give you something to eat while you drink. The food in the restaurant is really good, but a little too expensive for what it is.

The staff did not speak very much English, but we still managed to get the best meal of our two weeks in northern Spain. The food is a modern, high quality version of traditional Asturian food. The place was really busy on our visit, it seemed as if both tourists and the locals enjoy this restaurant.

After a long experience in different restaurants in & around Oviedo, Pedro Martino, an accomplished cook who got one michelin star for each of his two older projects (El Cabroncín and L´Alezna), has find the right offer at the right place. A menu with seasonal changes, low-prized menus and intriguing dishes, creating a new breath of fresh air for Oviedo´s... More
