Not cheap, but worth it.

An upscale restaurant with attentive service, popular with locals. Located not far from the west end of the main beach (San Lorenzo Beach). It was very busy for lunch on a weekday with a short wait at the bar for a table. The "menu", fixed price lunch, was 16 euros per person. The day we visited... read more

It is steep, got more expensive over the years, but I keep going back and, if anything, it gets better all the time. Great memories every time. Kind staff, good advice on food and wine. I should have given them a review each time I've been there.

This was our second choice restaurant, the first was very unhelpful. We were glad we chose to eat here. We started with a few drinks and the barman gave us tapas and olives. We ordered maigret of duck and monkfish followed by Apple tart and pear sorbet. A popular place with locals for drinks and tapas. The staff were friendly... More

My boyfriend and I went to Ciudadela based on Tripadvisor comments, and as usual it didn't disappoint us! The place is kind of small but thoughfully decorated, the type of rustic restaurant. We ordered grilled octupus, fabada asturiana and steak with cabrales cheese sauce... EVERYTHING was exquisite! They gave us a couple of aperitives as well, tiny shrimp croquetas with... More

This is a very cosy restaurant which we discovered from a Gijon guide covering Michelin starred restaurants. The overall atmosphere is undoubtedly nice with vintage-looking ornaments and lots of interesting lights which add to the ambience. The service was very prompt, helpful and professional. You will find that what stands out is the initial serving of different types of salt... More
