Came here for dinner and was not disappointed. The ambience was very good and rustic. There is a wine theme throughout the interior - wine bottle chandelier, wine crate slates adorn the ceiling but the best is the old wine cask table/booth. You must reserve one of these if you wish to dine inside a wine cask. As tempting as... More

I went with a friend on Sunday for lunch and everything we ate was fantastic. We waited for one hour, but it went by quickly since we had some sidra at the bar. The service was friendly and attentive and we were served quickly. We ordered chorizo a la sidra, cheese and a huge steak. We almost went rolling out... More

Was really in for some good Asturian food and being the first time in Gijon I was not familiar with the area. So I asked 3 lovely ladies were I could get great food and they recommend Tierra Astur. Took me a while to find it as it does not look like a restaurant. I had an hour wait at... More

Asturian food in this place its delicious. Although the prices are a little bit expensive its totally worth it. We always go in a group of four or more people, order a big portion that everyone would like to eat and the we split the bill. It is so convenient. I like really much the food in this place.

Repeat visit. Great food and atmosphere. Open all day. Good house wine. Big portions and enormous choice of rustic grilled, stewed and oven roasted meat & fish dishes. Cider cheap and local wines from around 9 euros a bottle but carafes cheaper. Go!

Nicely decorated place with great (and not expensive) food. You can choose one of two rooms: one has more city like style and the other is like a country side "sidreria". The kitchen is the same for both. We chose the second for its Asturian environment and had a menu (a fixed list of dishes for a fixed price). It... More

A pleasant surprise. I had not read anything about it here on Tripadvisor, it was the hotel receptionist indication. A very nice place, the Cider very cold and taste, the food delicious and the service a masterpiece.

Placed in front of the Poniente beach, the restaurant plays the local spirit in a modern way but food is amazing, rich and not really expensive. Meat (beef, pork, veal) coming from Asturias is unbelievable, so good ! If you come with friends (from 6-7 mini), choose a table in a huge barrel = funny moment for sure!

More
