The prizewinning Restaurante Aragonia's cuisine is intimist and pays tribute essentially to Aragonese produce, complemented with the best of the Mediterranean kitchen and the best wines in the world. This devotion begins with careful attention to detail in the choice of the best natural produce and the continual search through the classical and modern techniques on the part of the chefs, Noelia Andia and Jose Luis Reyes, to achieve the best of flavours. The restaurant manager, Jesus Solanas, a renowned sommelier, gives advice on the best wine and food matching for each gastronomic proposal. The restaurant has a wine cellar with over 1,600 national and international wines. The restaurant has a room for private celebrations with a capacity for up to 12 people: 'Reina Petronila'.

Almost perfect

We had late dinner in a big group. The food was awesome, our 4 course meal was delicious. The one problem was the service. Two times when the waiter was taking away our plates he scattered crumbs over us and at the end they forget about the desert three of us have ordered.

Only open at 9PM like most restaurants in Spain. Had menu number 5 starting with minestra de verdura, followed by a fresh rape and fruit for dessert. All well presented and served within 45'. Worthwhile trying.

Incredible new takes on traditional Aragon cuisine. I have been there 4 times and each time I am thrilled with my choices.

We stayed in the hotel and it was lovely, but the restaurant service was terrible! The restaurant is reputed to have an extensive cellar stocked with many local/Spanish wines, liquors and liqueurs. After dinner, my husband asked to see a list. They don't have one was the the response, if you know what you want we'll get it for you.... More

We stayed at the hotel for one night and had seen the review of the restaurant on TA before, but we had already decided to visit another restaurant, (Palolmeque). However, even though we tried to book it at lunch time for an evening dinner, it was fully booked. So gave the hotel restaurant a go. I was a little apprehensive,... More

Unexpectedly excellent. Fine food, first class professional and cordial service at a reasonable price. €50 euro a head with a fine wine, worth every cent.

One possibly does not expect to find a restaurant of this quality in the basement of the Palafox Hotel in Zaragoza, Spain. Impeccable service, outstanding dishes (the fish dishes are my favorites), a great wine list (many local outstanding wines). Not inexpensive but worth every penny.

Large variety of food items in the menu. Dishes are tasty and well presented, and portions are sufficient. Wine selection has several pleasing surprises. Service is attentive, respectful, and professional. Bathrooms are clean. Location is good. Atmosphere isn't particularly exciting. Parking could be a problem. Prices are on the high side. Bottom line: Good place to visit once if you... More
