Lovely Little Restaurant/Cafe

Worth finding this little place which is tucked away in a narrow street. Great selection of dishes and attentive waiting staff made for a relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable evening out. The home made mini bread sticks are delicious and very addictive - beware!

Mainly for local business people Tapas ok but service too formal. Not a fun bar and disappointed we were not recognised after many hours at bar. Visiting other cities we have had more friendly service and have at least had a complimentaly tapa or drink.

The personnel do their utmost to se3rve, accommodate and please the customers. Visited by locals, too. Excellent wine list, really impressive especially quality/price ratio. The location is nice and gets crowded later on as many people just get in for a tapas arrangement.

I was visiting Zaragoza with a friend of mine, and we decided to choose a nice tapas bar based on the tripadvisor recommendation. This is how we found Palomeque. We wanted to have a dinner on our first evening, we went there, but since we didn't have a reservation it was impossible to get a table. We were lucky, we... More

Whilst traveling thru Spain enroute from Barcelona to the Rioja wine region, we decided to have a stayover in Zaragoza. It was a surprisingly delightful little city easily accessed by the superb hi-speed train and also easy to pick up a hire car for the next part of the journey. We went to Trip Advisor and found Palomeque and made... More

This is quite a sophisticated place. Yes, you can have tapas at the bar, but most clients are at tables with white linen tablecloths, and they are prosperous middle-aged Zaragozans. You definitely need to book: we went on a Wednesday evening in January and by 9.30 it was full. Our waiter spoke some English and was delightful, and the food... More

You may miss the place when you visit Zaragoza, since this little place is not in the middle of the tourist area. Nevertheless it is just a few minutes, like 10 or less, from "El Pilar" or the Roman Empire era port ruins, so you must go there. When you arrive you understand this is not your average tapas bar... Went for a few tapas and some wine. The place was crowded on Friday evening. Great atmosphere. Very good service. Great wines by the glass and delicious tapas. Will definitively go again when in Zaragoza.

Went here twice when in Zaragoza with my wife. We intended to have dinner in Palomeque, but failed to make a reservation in time. The pre-dinner aperitif plus tapa were of outstanding taste and quality. Try the longaniza with a soft egg in some bouillon, or the pulpo in a cream of potatoes. My mouth is watering again when I...
