creative and delicious

Mouthwatering selection of interesting tapas upon arrival, we salivated and sampled and swashed it all down with generous glasses of tinto and then fnished with calamares cooked to perfection. Olde world ambiance, cosy and perfect for a near zero temperature evening in December. Spanish bliss.

Good atmosphere. Great staff. Let down by food. If only the food lived up to how great all the staff were. After a long drive from Galicia thus place suited it's purpose. Quick food. But the winner in the day were the awesome staff

Found La Pilara in the 'Tubo' during the 19th Concurso de tapas de Zaragoza. Lots of people doing a Tapas tour having a snack and drink in each place. Great atmosphere, great food. The wine was the best Casa Rioja we had in a week and really cheap. A great find and really one to try.

Ambiance cool, seems like a "brown café" in Amsterdam. Wow, their pintxos are really sophisticated. I must go back for lunch

We went to Zaragoza by chance. Did not check Trip Advisor...just walking around we found this place. People were really friendly/ décor was great/ tapas were great. Seemed as if locals were ordering from menu. We saw everyone getting what we thought were onion rings. We ordered by pointing...and wound up with Calamari. FANTASTIC( I do use that word a... More

We went there for lunch on Sunday, so there weren't many people. The place is really nice, it feels warm and cosy. We didn't try the tapas, that are what the restaurant is famous for, but we ate "Longaniza de bujaraloz, patatas paja, huevo frito y padrón", in other words sausages with fries, fried egg and green pepper. It was... More

Nice bar, decent tapas, good atmosphere, interesting decor in the heart of the lively tubo area. We felt instantly very comfortable here and enjoyed a few wines and a few tapas here on a couple of occasions during our stay.

First I must admit my review is somewhat biased since I fell in love with Leticia the bartender..... There are a lot of choices in the center of this beautiful city of Zaragoza but fortunately for me I walked into a great one. After driving around all of Aragon and Catalunya for three weeks and on a strict tapas diet... More
