Got in Zaragoza on a dull Monday night, found this place on TripAdvisor and went there at 10pm: what a surprise! Nice cozy atmosphere, incredibly welcoming staff and the food: awesome! We tried artichokes with an incredible duck liver and the the specialty of the house: pork meat on the "piedra". Definitely a place to revisit if back in Zaragoza!

Typical Spanish dishes and meat on hot stones that are brought to the table (Hence the restaurant's name) - we didn't do the stones as we had young kids with us but there were plenty of other things to eat. . Excellent preparation of dishes. The portions are quite large and so our waiter recommended cutting the number of dishes... More

Simply excellent. My wife and I asked for some help with local cuisine, and by George we got it!!! Excellent recommendations from a professional and friendly staff. The "piedritas" were superb as well as the solomillo a la piedra. The wine recommended for the "maridaje" was a local varietal...although I don't drink, my wife quite enjoyed it. Then, we jokingly... While driving from San Sebastián to Barcelona, my wife convinced me to pull into Zaragoza, just for lunch at this place, well worth it! David our server, was phenomenal, had great suggestions and never failed to get us the perfect food and great local wines. Some of the most tender meat I have very had. Wish they had one of... More

Everything about the place was awesome and was certainly the highlight of our trip to zaragoza. The boss was friendly and recommended really good food. We had the best steak ever the first night (yes, it was so good we went back again the following night for pork instead) and also the fried potato. The steak was served raw in... More

This was honestly one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten. The staff was great, the food was delectable, and the wine was fantastic. There was nothing I didn't love about the place, we weren't expecting such great atmosphere and service.

It has been one of the most exiting experience in my life. The place is very well located. Size is perfect if what you like is to be treated as if you were family. Decoration is amazing. I strongly recommend to taste the so called "piedritas" and please not to forget the "solomillo". Danny ,the owner, is relly a fantastic... More

The food is alright and the meat tasty indeed, but it comes at a price tag that is way out of order. And that sums it up, basically. Btw, no matter how much the waiter might suggest it, I do not recommend the potato with molten blue cheese. It is - apart from not being all that great anyway -... More
