Been there many times and is always a great surprise. My favorites are the peas and the rices. Also local meat. The desserts are always great. Very good wine selection. This restaurant is a fantastic way to discover Aragon dishes, the menu always include local dishes. Call before you go to make sure is open. The ground floor is better... More

We read the opinions in this website and decided to go there. Definitely the best decision. We went on Saturday and took the "weekend menu": 20€ all included, high quality meals and great desserts. I would repeat if I had the chance, for sure.

Excellent food, wine and service. Lunch for €15, wine included, chosen from a delightfully translated menu. We sat outside in the quiet square but there was plenty of seating inside.

This restaurant was a gem! Actually the system works because I found it using Trip Advisor and it looked and sounded nice. The reviews were right and we were quite bowled over. The welcome by the Portuguese waitress who ran the whole show was excellent. She spoke enough English to communicate and she was very attentive. The food was superb... More

We had the tasting menu @ 45Eu each, for lunch last Weds 26th June - our waitress advised choice was restricted as they were closed pm and had not marketed that day. However we had an excellent lunch - 6 beautiful small courses and a nice intermediate, all accompanied by a local chardonnay and a crianza rioja, both of which... More

We walked into the restaurant based on the Tripadvisor reviews; Huesca doesn't look like very much but this restaurant is something else. The menu del dia cost 15euros, including the house wine, an.. interesting bottle from the Somontano region. The food arrived and we were stunned - huge portions have thus far been the rule during our time in Spain... More

We planned a four days trip around Jaca, San Juan de la Peña, Candanchú, Huesca and finally Zaragoza. I made a list of must-visit restaurants in the area and Origen was, by far, the best one -you can check my reviews of November 2012 to get rest of comments-. Based on high-quality products locally produced, including beer, and a very... More
