Both the tapas and the restaurant are foodie heaven, I would go one night to the bar for tapas and book well ahead for the restaurant, All the staff love what they are serving and the boss is so enthusiastic. I would give him 6* mid range price but fine-dining definitely. Like most Spanish... read more

Dropped into Eslava for lunch today. The lunch crowd was enormous and it was difficult to push our way inside. Once inside, it was standing room only with a handkerchief size piece of bar bench. Despite the chaos, We were served so quickly, we had not had time to think about our drinks or study the menu. So, it was... More

Eslava is a must when in Sevilla. Simply get yourself up to the bar (it's very crowded most of the time), order a couple dishes, watch what others get and order what looks good, and don't forget the cuttlefish "cigars". The inside of the "cigar" is darkened by the cuttlefish and is a wonderful creamy texture, complemented by the crispy... More

We braved the rain and walked to Eslava after reading good reviews, and boy did it not disappoint! We sat by the bar as the place was really crowded and ordered a total of 6 tapas - loved every single thing we tried! Bill came up to only 19.90 euros including drinks (shocked!!!!), super value for money! Presentation of food... More

Everything ordered was amazing in particular the ribs and pork cheeks. Deserts were also delicious and large portions. Service was great, it was busy but managed to get us a table very quickly even though we didn't book. Reasonable prices. Would recommend a visit whenever in Seville!

I have nothing but complimentary remarks for the tapas bar at Eslava, one of the best tapas bars in Seville, in my opinion. I really enjoyed the pork ribs, egg yolk on brioche and navajas which were among my personal favourites along with copious amounts of the local beer. It was always quite busy which frequently put me off going... More

The tapas we had were unusual, good and well cooked. However the whole place on a Saturday night was a bit of a scrum and towards the end of our meal, the service was struggling with the sheer volume of people in the restaurant. The menu is available in English with "interesting" translations. The tables are cheek by jowl and... More

The seafood tapas was the highlight of the meal - very fresh and simple flavours. It was crowded but the service is fast so it wasn't an issue. The dessert was okay but it's something you can pass on.
