We had had a cold almond soup in Ronda and loved it. A friend told us that Habanita served it also along with vegetarian dishes. Luckily, it was near our apt., and Plaza Alfalfa. We could enjoy vegan Spanish cuisine here finally. They use vegan cheese too! The lemonade was not too sweet as usual one, and I loved it. The owner was very friendly, highly recommended :-)

The setting is simple. The food is fantastic! The food is an eclectic mix of traditional, Cuban, and Spanish cuisine. We liked it so much we ate dinner there twice while we were in Seville. The sliced tomatoes with garlic, oregano, and oil was the perfect starter. I had a very different meal of mushrooms, beans, and bananas. I loved it.... More

Habanita is a delight. Hidden away down a side street you have to hunt it out but it's really worth the effort. We arrived on a sunny afternoon and the owner could not have been more welcoming. After three days in Seville my vegetarian partner was beginning to feel desperate to find a restaurant where she could relax and feel... More

The owner's wife is vegetarian, which explains the veggie / non veggie mix. There is a fantastic choice for vegetarians, and the courtyard is very pleasant to sit in on a hot Andalucian evening. Service is friendly, and the atmosphere was very relaxed

We struggled to find some good things to say about this place ... the proprietor seemed to be having a very rough day and though he worked to extend a half-hearted welcome to guests, clearly something was off? Cook gone or late? Bills piling up? In any event, the marinated chicken was delivered as over-cooked chicken fingers. The croquetas were... More

We (vegan + omnivore) stopped in at Habanita for lunch. It was quite quiet but nicely tucked out of the way and shaded from the midday heat. We ordered frijoles, yuca and an aubergine meat dish hoping to have all at the same time. Unfortunately the aubergine came out quite a while after the first two, meaning that one of... More

Tucked away near the Alfalfa plaza this nice little restaurant has an extensive menu of vegetarian options, plus fish and meat for those in mixed groups. The servings are larger than Tapas size, and are consequently a little more expensive than you'll be used to in a Tapas bar. The food is very good and imaginative. The service is good... More

After a couple of weeks in Spain, we were looking for a different kind of food, especially with rice and more vegetables. Habanita was suggested by the Information Centre and we were not disappointed. We had a great lunch with tasty dishes and great service from the owners. The restaurant is a bit hard to find (as many places in... More

This place is not easy to find but well worth the perseverance. Away from the noisy eating places nearby, it is a calm spot in a cul de sac. Great choice and delicious food. We arrived quite late but that was not a problem for the owner. I would definitely return.
