We recommend this place to travellers as our waitress (Stefanie) was very accomdating and helped us with the menu as our Spanish is not so good (terrible) We though the food was great and a good atmosphere.

Unfortunately we discovered the restaurant and bar the last night even though we stayed in the appartment above the restaurant. The tapas served were in completely different league than we have had untill then; different but very good. I would highly recommend it. Also the bar next door of the restaurant (where yuo also can have your tapas) is very... More

After visiting the Vineria Santelmo we thought that nothing could compare - but we were wrong. This bar is more rustic but the food equal in it's quality and innovation. The food was absolutely amazing - we have sampled fine foods in top quality restaurants in London and this one gives them a good run but at a fraction of... More

We had some tapas at lunchtime here last sunday and the tapas were very good and a bit different. The cerviche was especially good. The specials on the board were in Spanish but the waiter was very helpful in explaining them. I would recommend it either for lunchtime or nighttime.

We ate at the restaurant next store twice (try it also) and after seeing the reviews for El Pasaje wanted to give it a try. We were nervous as the posted menu outside was only in Spanish and we were not sure what to order. Needless to say, we stopped one evening and the waiter greeted us in English and... More

We ordered 5 dishes from the nightly menu: a fusion chicken curry dish, a sardine dish, pig cheek, gnocchi with pesto, and croquettes. The fusion and sardines were amazing - rivaling the best dishes that we have had anywhere. The others were all good. The bread served at the table and Spanish extra virgin olive oil were also quite good.... More

We had late visit tonight and enjoyed being off on a quieter side street. Service was friendly and efficient. The artichokes with ham and almonds were a hit. The hot pork dish was very tasty. We enjoyed the 2 cheese plates and the ham dish. House wine and beer were pleasant. Can't go wrong here.

Innovative and delicious tapas. Very reasonably priced too. Our waiter was helpful and efficient. We ordered eight dishes and seven of them were superb. We were not raving about one dish, nothing wrong with it but not to our taste, & the waiter spontaneously (unprompted) took it off the bill as we didn't love it.

El Pasaje is a traditional style bar two minutes from the brash and touristy Mateos Gago. The food is traditional tapas with some more modern innovations, the prices are very reasonable. It is very much a local bar and has a very friendly and welcoming feel to it. The décor is a little drab but I suspect that is the... More

Probably the best food we had whilst in Seville - some of the specials (only shown on the Spanish menu) are really interesting and bit different from what is generally on offer and really nicely presented. Chicken tikka with black rice was particularly good! Great place for lunch - friendly young staff and a relaxed atmosphere
