This place was highly recommended by our hotel manager. We went for lunch after visiting real alcazar 5-10 min walk away. The food was excellent, we tried tuna tataki, patata bravas as well as some daily special pork dish. All the dishes were good, with special mention to that day's special pork that was juicy and flavorful. All in all... More

We tried ovejas negras because our hotel concierge , Maria , at Hotel Alminar recommended it. We are so glad she did because we had great service and the mushroom risotto and sangria were excellent! Probably the best we have ever had! It is a bar/tapas restaurant with great service.

Small tapas bar serving excellent food. Staff are friendly and the place had a great atmosphere. Grab a cold cruz campo and wait for a table, it's worth it.

A block away from the cathedral. Seating is all inside, Funky decor and waitstaff. The menu was eclectic but everything was good. Service was fast and attentive. There was a mix of local and international bites, all done well. The diners were also a mix of locals and tourists. Be sure to ask about the specials.

Recommended by our hotel. The black sheep (as in the name) is the black olive they put in the bowel of green ones. Had to wait for a table first tiem but all the dishes were good. Visited twice during our stay. Dishes are just that bit different from the traditional, would recommend and definitely will visit again next time... More

We were recommended this bar by our hostel and unfortunately it was quite disappointing. We arrived at Oveja Negra and waited for a table for one hour (not a problem, it is always good omen to see a frequented bar/restaurant). However, once we got a table we ordered more drinks and sides and were then told by the waiter (after... More

Order the pig cheeks and patatas bravas! Delicious! Best to know some Spanish as the menu is only Spanish and our waiter didn't speak a word of English! Didn't matter though, always happiest to be surrounded by locals!

Have had numerous meals at this place, both for lunch and dinner. The slow braised pork cheek is on point every time. The mashed potatoes that come with it are simply the best and go perfectly with it. I have also had the pig carpaccio with the tomato marmalade is outstanding as are so many other things on the menu..... More

Just ate here after being recommended by our hotel, and holy moly was it good! We ordered bruschetta, pig's cheek with mashed potatoes, and grilled pork with roasted veggies, and all 3 of them were amazing! If I could give more stars I would! Highly recommended!
