Authentic taste and look

Probably our favorite destination for lunch in the Santa Cruz barrio in Seville, not just because of the taste of their tapas, "medias raciones" (half plates) and "raciones" (plates) but also because of the ambience, super-traditional. We enjoyed their Tío Pepe fino wine (super dry white... read more

Such a lovely corner in Seville's old quarter. Magnificent service and tables on the street to watch life go by. A very good way to enjoy the city.

One of the best original TAPAS places in Seville!! Most Authentic tasting.. The bacalao in the tomato is phenomenal..the ambiance is so amazing.. the Corizo picante is very good too.. The prices are very very good n affordable, we ordered about five or 6 dishes and all were excellent!! a must try for die hard original tapas.

I wouldn't say that the tapas here were the best tasting - rather decent, but was disappointed with how they made teh Sangria and it didn't taste anything like it. The Ambiance is quite nite with the theme of Spanish matadors and bull fights.

In the heart of Santa Cruz, this tapas bar not only serves good tinto de casa but great tapas to go with it. The bull fight posters and wood and tile decor make it feel like old Andalusia. Two can eat and drink for under 20€.

Arrived in Seville and got to our hotel around lunch-time. Walked around to find somewhere close to the hotel and well rated on TripA. Sat at an outside table and ordered several plates of tapas and some drinks. All the food was tasty, but apart from out spinach and chickpeas, the dishes all contained fried potatoes. Whilst a few are... More

We popped into Bar Casa Placido after sightseeing and enjoyed our best tapas during our 12 day trip to Spain. The menu was explained to us in English by a friendly waitress and we enjoyed small plates of; oxtail aka "bull", spinach with chickpeas (infused with loads of garlic...yumm), potatos frittos, olives and 4 glasses of vino tinto. All of... More

Popped in here because it was near my hotel. Had some paella and a beer. Food was good and reasonably priced. Friendly waitress. Lots of character.

Stumbled across this cute corner tapas bar walking through Barrio Santa Cruz and really enjoyed the sausages here! It was nice to sit outside and watch people walking through the little streets. It is opposite a bar too where a man was playing traditional Spanish music on a guitar which added to the atmosphere. Prices were good too.
