Almiranta is located right in front of the Cathedral, which is a prime place to eat. This place can be misconstrued as a restaurant for tourists who don't know any better, but I would say the more "authentic" dishes tasted pretty close to what my host mother makes. (I study abroad here!!!) Even though this place doesn't exactly give off... More

I visited in October 2014. I normally try to avoid places to eat in the middle of tourists attractions but this time I was very hungry so had no choice. The food is delicious and not very expensive. We were unfortunate to have not very nice waitress serving our food but I saw other staff more approachable. Overall experience very... More

We ate here twice on a recent trip to Seville. All over Spain we had generally had good food but on both occasions this restaurant was outstanding. On our second visit some chaos had obviously occurred but the staff worked on manfully and out came their wonderful tapas. Our only minor disappointment was their having run out of one or two things... People told us not to eat near the cathedral as the restaurants only catered for tourists. Well this one certainly had as many locals in as tourists and after sampling three excellent tapas and a couple of glasses of wine each for 22 euro we can understand why.

Rosio was our server with a warm smile and eagerness to help us with the order. We had an assortment of quality cheeses with a hint of marmalade to compliment them. We had potato croquettes- smooth like velvet in the interior. Batatas on the side. Accompanied by slices bread, beer and mineral water. Hint: throughout Spain we notice that many... More

Recently in Seville with my partner when one evening we made the mistake of choosing this restaurant. Drinks - only got asked for one drink in 1.5 hours of being there despite numerous visits from the waitress to our table. Food - ordered 4 tapas, one of which was just chips - took an hour and 10 minutes for the... More

5* for having veg tapas options, for the price of their food and how amazing they taste, but 4* because there are only 4 veg options on their extensive menu. The food is presented like you would expect in a high end restaurant with excellent sauces and chutneys. Only a few minutes from the cathedral, friendly staff and outdoor seating... More

This tapas place was delightful, not a tourist trap. More modern take on tapas, great dishes, not expensive but then nowhere in Seville is expensive. Good friendly service, food arrived promptly - it comes as it is ready from the kitchen. Really good magret duck with forest fruit marmalade and very good fillet steak with wild mushrooms and truffle oil.... More

Our favorite was the eggplant tahini tapa and their salads were good too. Service was fine - no issues. Bread (included with cover) was a bit hard and not really fresh. A good option off Constitucion.
