The food was great. They just kept it coming. We left everything up to the waiter. He knocked it out of the park. They throw the wine down from the loft. Ya gotta just let them do their thing.

Excellent tapas (patatas aliñadas, your best option in the city), good service, reasonable selection of typical Sevila food. It feels you still are by the Maestranza.

It was our tday in Seville, we had been walking a lot, but weren't entirely oriented yet so we decided to follow a Rick Steve's recommendation and give this place a try. The tapas were excellent ... the Stew of the day was to die for, the chicken with bechemel sauce was succulent and the omellete in whiskey sauce rivalled... More

Rude waiter, "Raphael", over charged us for items we did not order! The lamb shank was awful. Stay away unless you like rude waiters and salty over priced food.

We went for Tapas and were disappointed that these were only served at the bar. Since that area was already overcrowded we settled for a meal at a table and were not disappointed. Each of us ended up ordering variations of dishes with rice and one was better than the other. The lamb too was succulent and very tasty and... More

This is my second review of The Casablanca. My first was written during the first week of a 2 month stay in Seville and I must confess I was far too generous in my review then and ignored the docile ill-mannered waiters because we focused on the food which we thought was great...then...BUT we've visited a couple of times more... Been here a couple of times, first time ok. Second time this year was very very good, we did go with a couple of locals and had a sit down meal(still tapas though). Food was some of best we have had in Seville. Friendly and attentive staff....try and go with a local or two!

Ok, it is a locals hang out but the food was pretty poor and very over priced in our view. Instead, head over to the other side of the cathedral to the really good value tapas bars in the narrow winding streets of Santa Cruz for excellent value and great service. This place is really not that great

We went for lunch to try the famed tapas, but were told by our impatient waiter we could only eat those standing up. We had walked all morning and needed to sit. He then insisted we try a dish of asparagus (I would never have imagined the 15 euro canned and wet specimens that arrived with 2 mayonaise based sauces),... More

We sampled many restaurants and tapas bars in Seville. In fact, we have sampled many of these establishments from as far North as San Sebastian (known for their pinxtos) to as far South as Marbella. This place had really good food, a fun vibe and just hit the right balance of energy. We went on a sunny Friday afternoon and... More
