Great ambiente in spite of the wine!

Bar Santa Ana is right next to the church of Santa Ana in the barrio of Triana. This is a great place to hang out in the early evening with the buzz of the locals and a little impromptu flamenco on the street. The bar is great, but they really need to get some better wine: I bought a glass... read more

Spain, Europe, the majority of the western world thrive on tourism, we went here as we knew there were locals about. The service was a disgrace, the own sat there staring at us and clearly making comments about us. The drinks tasted like cigarette and it was not cheap as a local bar, especially a dirty, cheap looking one like... More

Went here for lunch after having passed by it numerous times - and having stopped by for a drink a week earlier. Sat at a table outside of the awning on a gray day. Before we even sat down, a waiter came over and asked hurriedly if we wanted drinks. Neither of us have much Spanish, so there were a... More

This is NOT a tourist destination. If you are looking for bells and whistles you are in the wrong place. Most of the customers are locals, both from the Triana barrio and Seville at large. But if you are looking for the local taste, what they eat and how they enjoy life (rather laid back) you are in the right... More

Nice location and the food was average but the service was about the worst I have experienced on any holiday. It is too bad that Seville, a lovely city, should have businesses which treat customers the way we were treated at this restaurant. We were ignored and when finally served were treated rudely. I am only glad that this has... More

Shared two tapas, beer and tinto de verano. Pork didn't appear fully cooked and chips were floating in oil. We sat outside and it appeared no one had brushed up in quite a while. Food and cigarette butts littered the ground. Toilets inadequate. No toilet seat, hand towels or hand dryer. Wouldn't recommend. Skip.

I dont get the other reviews on this page. Most of the tapas we had there were disgusting, some were tolerable, but still not good. Everything was way too fatty and just tasted of fat but nothing else. Luckily they always brought something "light" with it... fried potato crisps. We also ordered "huevos fritos" and expected to get fried eggs,... More

This is my fourth week in Sevilla and I am staying in Triana. This bar is very close and has a devout following of locals this is what keeps me coming back regularly while I am here. The tapas are very good and the staff make it interesting for me. I love the local feel! You do have to order... More

Quiet spot across the river in Triana. We had our last tapas of the night here. Chipiron was very good. Lomo da la Sollomillo was excellent - maybe best I had in Spain. Service fine. Very good experience.

Ok, it might not be the greatest tapas on earth, I would say they are like in most tapas we tried in Sevilla in four days, except in gastronomic restaurants. What we like the most were the chipirron and the solomillo, and the papas ala oli (not so romantic though ;-) ) But it's good, the white wine is good,... More
