Carmela Bar is opened since 1994, it is an excellent reference to taste TAPAS, an Andalusian tradition. It is located between the Santa Cruz and La Juderia area, a very distinctive place of the Centre of Seville. This is the perfect place to make a break and sit down in its great terrace near the most important monuments of our city: the Alcazar, the Cathedral and the Giralda. It is also located very near La Carboneria, a famous place for live Flamenco music.

Great value and food!

Friendly staff, great tapas. Good breakfast offers including a meal, coffee and fresh orange juice. Great spot for people watching and nice mist sprays to keep you cool if you are there for lunch!

We stayed at the Hotel Fernando III which shared the plaza with Carmela. Somehow after dinner each night we found our way her for drinks, ice cream or a late night snack. For my brother in law who may have Hobbit DNA it was his second dinner spot. Everything we had was good and my wife had to have their... More

Tried several small cafes for light reasonably priced meals and seemed always to come back here. Service attentive and the meals were consistently good

Delicious food and pleasant staff. Good location to pass the time and people watch as you sit outside close to one of the outdoor heaters.

2 eggs, 2 thin small bacon slices, orange juice, accompanied in the bread basket by two tiny 2” wedges of bread (1 each) barely enough with which to clean up the egg, and taking into consideration how inexpensive bread is in Spain. Euro 6.70 per person. The location by a busy thoroughfare of motor vehicles, though appeared to be popular... More

Great little eating place on the edge of the old Jewish quarter of Sevilla (Santa Cruz). Only downside is that it is alongside a road with passing traffic, but the outside tables are set back a bit. Food unpretentious but good value.

We were walking back to our apartment and stopped in to have a drink and tapa. The pork in wine sauce was fantastic as was the quiche. There are so many places to eat in Seville, we wanted to try as many places as possible but we had to go back.

We stumbled upon this place while wandering back from the train station on the way to our hostel. We thought it was a great place in the sun to sit down and relax for a while, and the 4.5€ breakfast was a great value. For that price, we got a sandwich with fresh ham and tomato purée, orange juice and... More

This bar was opposite our hotel. We were room only so we had breakfast here most days. My wife is coeliac but after we bought some gluten free bread, they were happy to help. Very good value and friendly staff serving a lovely traditional Spanish breakfast.
