We were recommended this restaurant for their paella so went along for Sunday lunch, with half of Seville it seems! Service is entirely different to what we had seen at most other restaurants in Spain. Here you went to the bar with your table number, ordered whatever food and drinks you wanted and were served the tapas on the spot.... More

OK Esclava up the way is more sophisticated but has no view.We managed to share an outside table here and went into battle. It works give them a table number and they will buzz you when your food is ready.Fight your way to the bar and try and find the guy who served you.I was ok with small tapas dishes but... This review is going to be really short. If you don't know the spanish language very well, then here are some tips & tricks: - follow the locals what they are doing - ask for the english menu - remember what you ordered - don't hold up the line! - selfservice If you know the spanish language, you're going to... So far we have been in Spain a week and service has been terrible; however this place is something else. The waiter clearing the tables was perfectly nice and helpful, he explained how things work a little and that I had to go to the bar to order. Once at the bar the one of the men attending eventually decided... More

Great place to eat only tapas, it's all about trying new things! The best for me was bacalao, it came in a fried pasta "nest" with spinach and gratinated alioli. Good price, quality and atmosphere.

It was a pity that I only visited this jem on my last afternoon in Seville. I was recommended to visit this place by an extremely kind and friendly gentleman at a phone shop - and I have never regretted it. Wonderful tapas, very local, and gets very busy in the afternoon. Absolutely lovely.

Traditional tapas, great vibe and extremely nice white wine. Busy with locals and tourists alike. We will definitely return.

Bases on tripadvisor's comments , we tried this restaurant. The tapas were good but not expectionnal. Standard tapas. There is no service, it's a self service. Ok but nothing special

This place is very close to Eslava which is currently no1 restaurant in Sevilla on TripAdvisor. Whilst we were waiting in the long line @ eslava we asked some locals where they eat and they directed us to Dos De Mayo very local vibe. The clanging on the pots and pans inside is very loud due to an open kitchen... More

I think some people have missed the 'modus operandi' and/or the 'raison d'etre' of this place. It's self service in as far as you have to find your own table and actually go inside and order, then collect your food. You don't however have to clear away or do the washing up. We quickly found one of the tall tables... More
