Visited this restaurant after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. Great location by the Cathedral. Large menu, excellent food with large portions, good service and very reasonable prices for both food and drink. It's quite small with a cosy and intimate feel. Book in advance as it's really popular with locals and tourists. Enjoyed this restaurant so much that... More

Good location, staff friendly and has a loud and lively atmosphere. My husband and I shared the caprese salad and we both had pasta as our mains. His pasta was very good, but mine seemed a bit pasty. The dessert was excellent, chocolate souffle and ice cream was yummy! We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine, they only have Italian... More

Great Italian, great setting, great location in Santa Cruz and great service. We were a party of five and we all enjoyed our food (I had Lasagna). Waiting staff was very friendly and funny. It's owned by the same owners of La Gallina Blanca, another very good Italian restaurant. For sure we'd go back.

The pasta with lobster here was delicious and authentic, very much comparable to those found in Italy itself. Generous portion with the lobster as well. My family also tried shared the pizza, which was really good as well. Since my last trip to Italy 5 years ago, this was the closest I've ever got to tasting pasta that was similar... More

This deserves to be at the top of the ratings on Trippy - it has the best of everything. Excellent menu using only the freshest and most interesting ingredients, fast and very friendly service, plus very reasonable prices. If you're not there by 20:00, then you'll need to book as there are two sittings 20:00/20:30 and then 22:00/22:30. The place... More

We had to wait 45min. To get seated outside. Nice but tons of people brushing you and smokers. We had spaghetti carbonara which was good but too salty Milanese was good but the fried potatoes were the best.

Absolutely superb Italian dining, and a wonderful option if you're looking for a tapas break! Good service and unbeatable cuisine. We ordered a fresh salad to share and three serves of house-made ricotta and spinach ravioli - one with bolognese sauce and two with butter, sage and parmesan cheese. While waiting we were served a complimentary bowl of olives, subtly... More

Excellent restaurant with a decent price and good service. Should note that the restaurant is busy most of the time and advised to book in advance, Otherwise expect waiting for about an hour for a table.

OVERALL: Great authentic Italian food with friendly staff and a very welcoming atmosphere LOCATION/ATMOSPHERE: Fantastic location, right near the cathedral and palace in the heart of Barrio de Santa Cruz. Very welcoming shabby-chic atmosphere, with wonderful pictures and comfortable tables, whether for a few people or a group. FOOD: In a word, delicious. If you've ever had Sunday supper at... More
