Two Visits in Quick Succession

We had two birthdays to celebrate in quick succession and decide on Al Aljibe for the first as it was in easy walking distance from the apartment we were using and had the most interesting menu of all the places set around the Plaza. We were given a table on their roof garden where there was a... read more

After reading all the positive TA reviews I was looking forward to a meal at Al Ajibe. The food, ambience and service were all fine. There was nothing wrong with this restaurant and I don't think anyone would go wrong by eating there. On the other hand there was nothing special about Al Aljibe. We dined upstairs and if you... Had Tapas at Al Aljibe twice in one week in Sevilla. Because we arrived early 8.30PM we had a table at the beautifull terrace. We tried a lot of different dishes and all were very nice. In combination with the atmospheric environmant and good service it was a great evening.

Been here for the third time in different years and this restaurant keeps on offering great tapas, good wines and good service. The tapas show a lot of modern creativity for a reasonable price! The Verdejo white house wine is excellent. Sitting outside on the street terrace gives you a feel of the real Sevilla. Highly recommended!

I have borrowed the title of my review from a Spanish review because it is the most apt and fitting one - very good (or even tasty) space. Recommended by Anna, a tapas expert during a tapas food tour, this place lives up to its reputation and more... In the heart of Alameda, with unique & tasty tapas, lovely courtyard... More

This restaurant is on the Alameda and has a different selection from your average tapas bar. The ceviche was incredible, but the pork tenderloin stole the show. Full of flavor and so tender you didn't need a knife. We also had duck with an apple risotto. The duck was average, but the risotto made it an outstanding and unique dish.... More

Delicious food on the Alameda. Try to snag a seat outside for great people watching. It's true, as others have mentioned, that the service isn't overly warm but we found it to be competent and professional. The restaurant may not rate 5 stars but it's probably better than four based on the delicious tapas, courtyard setting, and fair prices.

This restaurant was recommended by one of the employees at the hotel we stayed at. We had a good range of tapas and they were all delicious. The service was efficient but not as friendly as we enjoyed at some other places we went to. The overall bill was very reasonable for what we had and we would definitely go... More

My husband and I went for dinner tonight. The tapas were delicious, an explosion of flavour in each of them. The service was efficient but not very friendly. Fair price/quality, I would definitely recommand.

We booked a table on the terrace months ago, but they had no record of it. However, we were accommodated there anyway, so a tick for that. We had just two plates, the langoustine burger and the oxtail. Both were sublime. Another big tick. The house red was marginal, but adequate. The terrace itself is unnecessary, as you see nothing...
