Just across the river from the Jardines del Guadalquivir you'll find Casa Manolo Leon, a regal restaurant with a smart feel. Set within an elegant and historic Andalusian house dating back to the 19th century you can expect a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Inside dining rooms are carefully decorated, one might be the perfect aqua of a Tiffany gift box, another boldly striped in gold and cream, antique pieces complete the look you really could be in another time entirely. During warm summer evenings candles flicker throughout a gorgeous Mediterranean courtyard, the ideal place to enjoy tasty and fresh traditional Spanish food, especially fish and seafood from nearby Huelva.

Delightful courtyard dining

We ate here in May when the temperature was 25C at midnight, so to find this gem in the Old Town (on tripadvisor) was heaven. The walls of the courtyard are high with well established wall plants. Very cool despite the heat on the streets outside. Very relaxed. Attentative waiters but like the old... read more

The food is fresh and unique! Very fresh and tastefully! In few words rich traditional kitchen with a modern touch! And very well presented! Service is outstanding and the owner a character! I strongly advice you to go when in Sevilla

if you link through Tripadvisor, you're taken to The Fork site. There, you'll be offered an option for a 29€ set menu. Good deal, right? I thought so. We arrived last night for a booking I'd made a month ago, only to be told The Fork had made "an error." They claimed there's another restaurant, called the Bar Manolo Leon,... More

We came here for a meal while on tour. Let me just say it's an absolutely entrancing location: we were seated in a Moorish style patio garden, full of lamps and greenery. It was quite an expensive evening - I was charged E48 (don't know how much of that went to the restaurant.) We had unlimited sangria, and the food... More

We all had excellent meals and all the 4- course tasting menus were €23 including wine. Communication was not easy as only one of the kitchen staff spoke any English or French, but this was our best meal during the week we spent in Spain. It is the second Casa Manolo Leon restaurant, located in a quiet residential area of... More

The casa Manolo Leon is an excellent traditional Spanish restaurant. The atmosphere is great and authentic. The food is excellent. The service very decent. A restaurant with style! It is especially so great, since it is in the neighborhood of the Alameda de Hercules, one of the hotspots for all kind of (very good and attractive) tapas restaurants. The pricing... More

A friend from Sevilla recommended this place. We ordered the tasting menu. Food was plenty (perhaps portions too big) but every dish was a feast for the senses. All freshly prepared. We had better food here than at the Michelin starred Abantal. A must try. It's away from tourist places.

This is off the tourist route. A friend from Seville had recommended it and I took a group of friends from England. It was raining so we didn't get the patio (very pretty). The food was excellent, well prepared and well served! Everything was good: the fish, the meat, the dessert. The old house is beautifully refurbished and elegant, a... More

We went based on TA great reviews, however we were disappointed, food-wise. Beautiful courtyard setting; nice & efficient service; good quality of the ingredients. Veal steak w foe gras - good size portion, but came literally RAW (ordered medium), asked to cook through better - it came medium rare (more on the rare side); lamb came w a lot of... More

Absolutely stunning restaurant. Very romantic. Lovely courtyard dining area. We had a table on the private balcony. The service was very attentive and the food was amazing. Will definitely visit again if in Seville. Thoroughly recommend this place - it is really special. And amazingly good value. It must be good as it was full of locals. Its tucked out... More
