Loved this Place . . . Great Service and Food in a Lively Atmosphere

We liked the tapas and service so much, that we returned to Bodega Santa Cruz two times during our stay in Sevilla. This is a local favorite. Watch their selections, and explore the culinary delights. Don't miss the eggplant with honey (Berenjenas con miel) and the Pringa (sandwich). Frankly, we... read more

This is my favourite tapas bar in Seville. Food was great, sevice was efficient. Prices were reasonable. We had 4 tapas and a drink and the bill was under €10.

The most typical taberna in Sevilla, located just few steps away from the Cathedral. Best tapas in town and quick service. You gotta pass by!

Classic dishes out of tapas history. Fried sardines, jamom iberico, garlic lemon chicken. All served up by the bar with chalk marks for your check. Loved it.

Set in the historic area of Seville this old tapas bar serves great tortillas, iberico ham and fried anchovies in a bun. The waiters chalk up your bill on the counter. Terrific atmosphere

You stand-up (extraordinarily lucky if you get a seat), you order little and often, your bill is recorded in chalk on the bar top, the beer is cold, the tapas great value and good, vary popular with locals - especially in the evenings. This is the prime example of a great local tapas bar in Seville. Must be experienced.

Don't miss this place. Centrally located near the Cathedral and Alcazar. It's always packed but the tapas is tasty and the wine and cervesa flow freely. It's 99 per cent local. You can sit inside or outside or stand at the bar. The guys taking the orders attend to you eventually. This is not gourmet tapas but just simple dishes... More

Visited on a few occasions during our trip. Taps really goog and not expensive. Your bill recorded on the bar! Great. Fabulous atmosphere especially when the 'Strolling' musicians start to play and get everyone involved. Location is right in the heart of Santa Cruz with lots happening all around. Well worth the visit.

Don't be intimidated by the crowds of locals battle your way in and with a bit of broken Spanish you will get served by the cheery bar staff. Great fun and you feel like you are part of the local scene. Very cheap and tasty tapa.

Best tapas in this part of town. The waiters write the bill on the table, which is a nice gimmick. Most important, you get good authentic food at a very good value.
