Having been recommended, and having some great reviews here on tripadvisor, we were expecting a great experience. It was fairly quiet, but the bar staff ignored us for ages. We ordered two glasses of red wine which were disgusting. The worst I've ever had in Spain. The tapas were totally forgettable, I can't even remember what we had. We left... More

This place serves unique tapas which I had not seen in Madrid or Barcelona. The eggplant lasagna dish was excellent and we really enjoyed that. The place is typical Spanish where you would have to stand around to drink and eat, but come early as the crowds really love this place.

As we wandered the winding streets, we noticed this place had a lively crowd that spilled out front. It seemed to be a local hang out where people were clearly enjoying themselves. We gave it a try. It did not disappoint. We asked for a recommendation from our server for tapas to try. He brought a savory pork dish served... More

I had tapas in different places in Seville, but these ones are the best ones. I recommend: tortilla rellena, pringá and croquetas caseras. Hmm sooooo tasty!!! BUT some waiters aren't very polite. This is a very well know place, so it's busy and crowded all the time. So they might serve you in a rush, with no smile on their... More

My friend David recommended this place to have dinner, and I believe it's the most authentic tapas bar I've been to in Sevilla. It's situated near the Giralda next to other expensive tapas places that are more modern. The tapas here are less than 3 euros and the service is very speedy for a popular place. You can order the... This bar is always crowded so plan to eat early for lunch or dinner, otherwise you may have to stand. A good variety of tapas and other items. It's noisy and smoky, just the way the locals like it ! Whatever you do DON"T decide to eat across the street if Las Columnas is too busy. That restaurant, kitty-corner from... More

if you go for the tapas you will probably be disappointed. This is a popular locals bar with so-so food. Expect a lot of noise, standing and lots of smoking if you can not squeeze into the tiny inside.

Bodega Santa Cruz caters to both locals and tourists and seems to be non-stop busy all the time. We were able to grab a stand-up table on the front porch and settled in for three tapas to go with our beer and wine. When ordering at the bar - the server highly recommended the fish balls (with tomato and bell... More

My friend and I have just spent 5 days in Seville, and have eaten at this tapas bar for most of our meals. The food is just superb (freshly cooked, traditional recipes, absolutely delicious), it's always packed, there's a great buzz and it's the most popular bar in the area. But we were really disappointed to find that the service... More
