Fun atmosphere!

Stopped by for a drink and a few tapas. Busy all day and night this joint is popular in Santa Cruz! Fun atmosphere but in the middle of tourist central so be aware.

Awesome tapas. Each plate for 2 euros. Great crowd. The guy at the counter was nice to help me with my orders given everything was in Spanish, inspite of being so busy

Very close to the Giralda/Cathedral and surrounded by tourist bars and restaurants (some of which are quite good), but this is pretty much the real deal. The tapas are good, freshly made and inexpensive and there's a great buzz at any time of day. We got a table both time we visited, there's a quick turnover of diners. The menu... More

As others have stated, this is NOT gourmet and it is always packed. This is the real thing---tapas served quickly at the bar or a small table; the staff mark the bar with chalk as your bill; tapas are fresh and as they run out, the chalkboard menu is updated; beer and wine are cheap. We actually ate here 3... More

You´ll never get a seat here as its almost always fuyll of both tourists and locals. In fact, it´s so full most people are standing in the street drinking and eating. The tapas are better than expected, but don´t look for cleanliness. Lots of smokers here.

We came here for dinner - around 9ish. It was already pretty packed with people inside and outside. You order at the bar. We actually stood at the bar and since we did not speak Spanish, the guy just brought us 3 different tapas based on his recommendations. We had 2 beers and 2 tinto de verano and the bill... More

Traditional tapas bar, very popular with locals and good food. The only problem is trying to find somewhere to eat as its always full

This is a great little tapas bar, very cheap but amazing tapas. Lots of choice about 25 to choose from, mostly costing 2euros each. We had 4 and a drink each which was just over 10euros and we were stuffed. We stood at the bar but they did have a few tables inside and outside. Don't miss the chance to... More

Our accommodation was in the Barrio so this bar was round the corner from our hotel, we stumbled across it while having a mooch around and glad we did. It was full of locals and tourists, until they spilled out into the street. The aray of tapas was pretty amazing which made it hard to choose what to eat. We... More

We liked the tapas and service so much, that we returned to Bodega Santa Cruz two times during our stay in Sevilla. This is a local favorite. Watch their selections, and explore the culinary delights. Don't miss the eggplant with honey (Berenjenas con miel) and the Pringa (sandwich). Frankly, we tried at least 6 items, and they were all delicious.... More
