Worth a try!

This place was recommended by a tour guide after a flamenco show and it was actually so busy that I decided to head back there the next day. The portions were quite big and very shareable. The first thing on the board was delicious (I can't remember the name of the dish) but it begins with a P and... read more

The food is nothing special that stands out in my memory but this place was a fun, cheap authentic tapas experience in the heart of city center, Santa Cruz neighborhood, with great people watching of the locals about their daily lives! We went during a slower midafternoon period so it was not too intense. Could be different if it were... More

We stopped here on our first day and made friends with the staff. We followed their advice on the specials and tapas. When we were looking for paella one night they told us to come back at 2 pm the next day and they were correct! Excellent

I have been here a few times now as I'm lucky enough to have parents who live just outside Seville. It is always packed around lunchtime, but worth the wait. We were recommended this place by a local and have never been disappointed. The food was lovely, the staff very friendly and I did like the fact our "tab" was... More

A traditional tapas bar where standing at the counter is the best way to enjoy it. Lots of dishes of stews/meat in sauce that were excellent. Very good if you want a quick bite to eat before heading to another bar or carrying on with sight seeing.

We went to Bodega Santa Cruz aka las columns as it was suggested by Rick Steeves Spain Tour Book. He was right- this is a bustling place. Nothing fancy. At 10.20 Euros we had 2 beers, Serrano Jambon (ham), calamari, pork, sardines. We did not to get to sit down but stood by the bar. There is nothing wrong with... More

What a wonderful find. Yes even though I speak a little Spanish, this did not prevent having a wonderful experience eating locally and pointing at a wide selection of Tapas on offer at an incredible price. Standing at the bar or make shift shelves drinking and eating whilst the place buzzed. I would completely recommend this Tapas bar, several plates... More

Stopped in for a beer with my brother in law and ended up having two each and 4 total tapas for €12. Really cool place. When we heard the recommendations from the tender and ordered, the food was literally out in 30 seconds, hot and fresh. My Spanish is spotty at best and learned in Cuba so it differs from... More

Crowded place that seems popular with the locals! Very friendly staff and as my Spanish wasn't good, he decided to order a few dishes for my friend and I and we were glad that he did! The pringa was delicious! Crusty bun with well flavoured meat filling. The tuna with tomato was really popular as well. It was fresh and... More
