There is so much choice in Seville it is difficult to find a genuine restaurant that is not a tourist trap. We saw this tapas bar on Tripadvisor with good reviews so decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. You have to get there early if you want a table on the outside terrace. There is... read more

Nice outside tables in a quiet square, friendly staff. Only cold tapas available because the kitchen was closed. Still a reasonable choice was available & we enjoyed the food.

Having been disappointed with the tourist tapas places near the main sites in Seville, finding this place was a joy. We found a much better selection of tapas dishes with generous portions and friendly, brisk service. Seemed to be popular with the locals. Might need to queue, but worth it. Get there early.

Spending a few months in Sevilla, I became well accustomed with the food scene. After befriending a local, I was introduced to what became my favorite restaurant for tapas in the city, Coloniales. I had the pleasure of eating several meals here with my amigos Sevillanos, each time trying new plates, and never being disappointed. Food is inexpensive and completely... More

Pasaba una semana en el centro de Sevilla con amigos y fuimos aqui mas que 3 vezes! La comida esta buena, barata y deliciosa :). Fui a otros restaurantes pero la historia, servicio and otras cosas fue increible. Te lo recomendo! Great place with lots of history, good service and cheap tapas that fills you up may it be for... If you are a big, young man, who can never kill his appetite with just one or two plates, but always needs at least 5 in those fancy restaurants, then coloniales is just the thing for you. They make hefty spanish tapas for a fair price, always giving you a smile. When youre not spanish speaking (or just starting too)... More

lovely place for lunch. very buzzy and really nice food. we had patatas bravas, a really light deep fried hake in batter, and a reveltos. All was really nicely done, great value, and an excellent place to relax for a few hours over lunch

Spend a few very nice days in Seville. The cuisine in general is perfect, but this restaurant surprised me, phenomenal food like toast of quail eggs with ham and gazpacho. Variety of food and very well located in the city center.

Lovely atmosphere and nice staff. Didn't think the food was amazing, but it was very nice. We had Roquefort cheese with blackberry jam, but it came with crackers, no bread was available. The best thing is it's great value for money, and there's plenty of choice. Would go again.

I have been in Coloniales a couple of times and I love it. The staff are friendly and patient as they always try to accommodate to our needs. The food is fabulous and cheap and I would reccomend the pechuga de pollo con salsa de almendras, papas bravas, tomates alinados and pollo a la castellana. You will not regret it.
