If you go expect the following: a) High prices; b) good food; and c) great service. Food will run you up to 60 euro per person but it is well worth it. Great croquetas, stunning "solomillo" and delicious desserts. I didn't have wine but the sangría was to die for. Service was wonderful. Great job!

The restaurant was adviced in a hotel. We went there at the beginning of the holy week. When you enter, first thing you smell is a desinfectant they use to wash the floor, it was awful. The food was prepared well before and smelled old, especially potatoes salad. The meat was impossible to chew and it was not fresh. The... More

Watch out for the bread & butter scam. They bring you 3 stale rolls in a basket without butter then add 3 euros 90 to your bill plus 10%. food was not so clever. suidevide lamb loin but not finished correctly. they got our order wrong. Expect £100 for a couple. Not worth it. Check out a reputable Tapas establishment!... More

Dear Sir: Firstly thank you for your time as well as the excellent assessment of our service. As you say, we make butter with bread, butter is not an ingredient of Andalusian cuisine, we serve to change some potatoes seasoned with extra virgin olive oil. Indeed, eating tapas is cheaper, Becerrita has a tapas area with an average price per... More

As said elsewhere on tripadvisor decent service, mediocre cooking at premium prices, I paid over 50 Euros for a three course a la carte dinner were the price did not mirror the value and quality received. The selection of andalusian tapas was not very inspiring whereas the entrecote was not as warm as it should have been. The dessert did... More

Becerrita haven't really changed their menu in two years, and the food is tired and not fresh. We were put in a room with other tourists (Thurs 26th Dec dinner); the fish didn't taste fresh, and they use the same sauce for all the fish dishes it seems; lots of butter, lots of butter, lots of butter. Waiter didn't come... More

Dear Sir: We regret that your dinner in Becerrita not have satisfied their expectations. The restaurant setting are small dining-rooms, and during the week after Christmas, in the dinner, the guests are usually tourists, Seville guests remain in the tapas area. Thus the coincidence that in the nearby tables were foreigners. I can assure you that there is no butter... More

Outside the normal tourist area but well worth the walk, or taxi. The restaurant has small rooms with three or four tables. Service was excellent, food was wonderful. When we left there was a queue of people hoping for a table. Expect to pay 50 euros per person including wine.

...if you are not -- don't make the journey. The restaurant is composed of many small rooms and we were relegated to what was clearly the foreigners' one. Restaurants that do this "preserve" their local clientele but the practice prevents visitors form experiencing how "it is done" locally. This foreigners' room ambiance is seldom enjoyable. The food, however, is quite... More

Dear Sir: I appreciate the good value of our kitchen. As for the layout of our restaurant, I assure you that there is room for customers Sevilla and foreign customers, all customers have the same treatment and location, what happens is that at night the meetings of friends often get used to stay in the tapas area, where no reservations... Good honest food, well priced and great service. Ask the excellent staff to recommend wine. Less touristy part of town but well worth the trip

Classy, traditional Spanish style restaurant, serving very good, faultless, regional food in a modern way. I particularly rememeber the Don Jesus dessert. If you are only looking for a half bottle in the vast wine list, you will hardly find one. So in that case, it may be better to go by the glass. Very pleasant and helpful Maître d´Hôtel.... More

Dear Sir: Thank you very much for your comment. We are proud to have met your expectations. You are absolutely right about the half bottle, there is only one red wine in that format. In Sevilla there is no market, so we have wine list by the glass. A greeting More

We were with some Spanish friends who had eaten here before so that was a good start but it didn't end there. The restaurant is very typically Spanish with small intimate rooms all over the place, not what you expect when you go in but WOW and WOW again. The food is exquisite and amazing value for money, do not... More
