Great food, great prices

A typical Andalusian bar, with a typical Andalusian restaurant behind it. Walls tiled with the traditional ceramics, heavy wooden furniture, and a large menu ranging from Stewed Ox-tail to crisp-fried anchovies fresh from the coast. The food was OK but we paid 17 Euros for 8 pieces of Jamon and 6 pieces of cheese. I questioned the bill but was told we were served the "special plates". The waiter showed it to me on the menu, the menu he never showed us when we placed our order! I guess we got taken.

We got here by following the review of Turist inglesa, we have found in Estepona where we go alot that her and us have the same tastes so we go to places she says to go. She was right again here because this was lovely and typical and really really good value. Thank you turista inglesa!

Visited for lunchtime tapas and a glass of wine at this tiny cafe in the city centre. Although close to the Cathedral and Alcazar, it is not at all touristy and all the other customers seemed to be local. Lack of toilet roll or towels in an otherwise clean loo is my only criticism. Very good value.

Generous helping, good selection of wines, friendly service and, to those used to Marbella prices, extremely good value.
