This is the fourth time we have eaten here and we cannot find a better restaurant in Seville, every thing from reception to service and especially the food, is superb. Do not go if you are one of those who like a plate piled high with food this is QUALITY but quite pricey in an evening but well well worth... More

We stumbled into this place while we waited for the Air. B&B owner to turn up. What a wonderful lunch and an amazing price. 4 course lunch of wonderful quality and choice for €13.90. Service was also outstanding and it's a must the next time in Sevilla. Outstanding!

This is a school and restaurant and one of the best places we had eaten when in Sevilla about 10 years ago. Since, the quality has stayed very high and I found the service special. It was not crowded which I think has something to do with being in Sevilla in December and this is more for tourists than locals.... More

Our tour guide scheduled a dinner for our group of 37 at the restaurant, we loved the food and the elegant but fun service. Would love to go back to stay at the hotel. It is located in a very lively area and our driver miraculously got our bus to the door of La Taberna, with much applause from our... More

Had dinner here during a 3-day stay in Seville. The restaurant on the first floor of this renovated old townhouse not far from the Cathedral area consists of small rooms with just a few tables (4 in ours), very elegant. There is an extensive traditional Spanish menu, but we went for the tasting menu at 59 euros. We found the... More

We live in Washington DC and have visited the Taberna del Alabardero at home, so were excited to try the sister restaurant in Sevilla. It was a lovely meal! Our waiter, Jose Luis, was so welcoming and fun to talk with and the food was delicious. It was a very welcome break from tapas! The most welcome difference from the... More

The whole experience was just brilliant. The building and setting were perfect, we ate in the restaurant part, so were upstairs. Went for the 7 course tasting menu, which was pretty cool because you didn't really know what was coming next (so I guess not great for fussy eaters). The service was fab; really attentive, and the wine was amazing!!... More

We happened on this hotel as we were walking Sevilla on our first day. We stopped for a drink in this lovely place and after seeing the menus for both the bistro and the restaurant, we chose the bistro because it was a little more casual. The atmosphere was of another time and lovely. The service was wonderful and the... More

In Spain at this price level you expect suburb food, here you get terrible overcooked food. Worse meal in Spain during entire holliday. We ate paella at the beach for 6,95 euro which was a 1000 times better. Staff is friendly, but please let them there take a good look at them selves, because this is unacceptable.

I made a reservation for this acclaimed restaurant via the site The Fork, which offered a 30% discount on a two course meal. I lunched in the restaurant (there is also a cheaper option downstairs - more brasserie in style) on a Monday. It was a lovely, old fashioned setting with a formal dining room quality. I was actually the... More
