So, so good

Really did not think something on the hill overlooking Alhambra would be good. Tried this place at the insistence of our hotel. Went and thought we could have a drink and go elsewhere if it was not to our liking. Soooooo glad we went and stayed. The setting is great. The staff is awesome. The food... read more

We had great expectations for this place, only to be disappointed. Yes it has great views, but that's about it. We ordered 2 drinks and received as usual '2 Tapas', just a plate of sliced fried potatoes, covered in oil! Probably the worst Tapa we had on our visit. The potatoes were barely cooked, and we waited ages!! We were billed as... More

My wife and I stumbled upon this gem after we discovered the restaurant we had intended to visit (Mirador Del Carmen de Aixa) was closed for the month. The restaurant is a little less than a 2 mile walk from Alhambra and the Generalife which takes you through the quaint old city of Granada. You can take a taxi or bus... More

This restaurant does indeed have a great location; if a little hard to find. However, I have to agree, the food is over priced. Nevertheless it's still worth a visit for the ambience. Just don't expect fine dining. I had the fish and the portion could not have been smaller and I was somewhat disappointed.

...Mirador has a closer view of the Alhambra coupled with the "special occasion" ambiance that all these view restaurants offer. We spent some time searching and when we found it in the afternoon, the staff was very hospitable and helped us make reservations for later that night. The food was excellent as was the reasonably priced wine list. Yes, it... More

I had reserved a table based on the EyeWitness Guide recommendation, plus we had seen it featured in the videos "From Spain With Love." The difference is, they apparently knew where it was at. We tried to find it using it Iphon maps but it became confused. We then flag down a taxi, but he did not know where it... More

The view and the setting is great! The food was a mix. Appetizer was excellent but salad was too salty. However, the waiter was very friendly and offered us a few dessert samples for free (we had to wait a while for our food because one of the cooks was sick).

It does have a beautiful view, but the food was way to expensive for what they offered we had a lot to eat as we were starving we started with three tapas that were good, sauté wild mushrooms, cheese , and octopus , then the entrees we wanted somethings traditional so we went with the pork my husband ordered a... We've been here a couple of times in the past and wanted to have a gourmet menu again. Sadly, we found out that in the meantime they raised their prices to a non /Spanish level. The quality however, wasn't raised equally. So enjoy spectacular view on the Alhambra, but stick to s simple dish.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. It is up the hill and looks over the valley to the Alhambra. The best part is the shady setting, the excellent food and service and very reasonable wines. Prices are very acceptable for this quality. It is often used by parties - on our second visit (in three days) there... More
