An excellent tapas bar in the high food street

It is an extremely popular bar with locals and tourists alike... The atmosphere here is busy and cheerful. If your tapas takes too long you get some freebies to nibble on. Ask for the recommendations from the server at the bar and you will not be disappointed.

According to custom in Granada when you order a drink a free tapas accompanies it! Not of your choice but whatever they are serving up in la cocina! You can also order additional tapas from the bar's menu..Los Diamantes is on the Plaza Nueva at the base of the Alhambra ridge. It is crowded, fun and the tapas were good...a... More

This place is quite an experience. In line with many of the Tapas bars in Granada, they offer a free tapa when you buy a drink. You cannot choose what you get, but in our experience the offerings were always excellent. The deep-fried dogfish was superb. If you want to order specific dishes, you can, but then you are charged,... More

Los Diamantes is one of the most famous Tapas Bars in Granada that you can find in every guide book. It is chep, the service is fast and it tastes above average. However it will not open your eyes when you taste it. I do not see it as a tourist trap as the prices are not high (as in... More

This place was packed with locals and tourists and with good reason. Quick service and good raciones and half raciones. Lovely grilled whole prawns and deep fried prawns. Sold out of calamari unfortunately.

There are several locations of this chain of Tapas bars. This one, in the very touristy Calle Navas manages to keep its traditional feel without being touristy like the rest of the tapas bars on that street. It is busy and filled with locals, there for the very good seafood. Much of it is served free when you order a... More

We chanced upon this restaurant as we were walking in Granada and we noticed a lot of locals inside and outside trying to get in. We ordered beer and got free tapas as is the custom in Granada. The food was simply amazing. The place, although a chain, felt very homey and genuine. I try to avoid the term "authentic"... More

This place was where I lost my 'Granada tapas virginity', and looking back I don't think I could have picked a better place. Their mixed platter of various fried fish is simply delicious and matches perfectly with the local beer, and the wonderful experience is completed by superbly relaxed and joyful atmosphere and service. Muy bueno.

Wonderful place to get a fish meal and mingle with locals & tourists alike. For drinks it is best to stick to either beer or wine.
