During the nights this place gets packed, hard to move around but the tapas are worth the wait. Recommended to go with groups or at least a couple (if you decide to order food, the portions are huge!). Good atmosphere.

Very small and super crowded, bring aggressiveness otherwise you will never get close to the bar
to order your drinks or food.
But if you did you will be reward handsomely with some of the best food I had ate in Spain.
Just simple good fry shrimp, sardines etc.
No fancy stuff here, it full of local and very loud....

In three days, we went twice. On the other day we tried the "best" fish restaurant in Granada and wish we had saved our money and gone back to Los Diamantes. Great sidewalk people watching while drinking a cold beer and great tapas, although most are fried. We loved the mixed seafood, vegetables and sardines.
Visited Granada with friends and stopped by Los Diamantes on the recommendation of friends. Ordered a drink and where surprised at the tapa, it was paella, and fried fish. The food was so good that we ordered fried calamari. After all this food we skipped lunch and continued sightseeing.
We visited here on the recommendation of our hostel owner.....what a find....extremely small inside and it's a race to grab the few seats when they open.....don't be put off...we were the only 'tourists' in there....but by making hand gestures the locals helped us order.....the deal is you buy a drink and it comes automatically with a plate of tapas...we had...

This is a small bar, and locals flow in at lunchtime by the hundreds. Amazingly, they manage to serve every order to the noisy crowd. Only sea food, tasty and fresh. We were the only non- spanish, and had to guess some of the dishes. Yet it was much fun.
Authentic Tapas, don't get flustered, every drink comes with one of,their house tapas. So, you really don't need to order any different plates. We are from Barcelona, where nothing is free, so, when they brought a plate of divine fried fish we tried to send it back, we had ordered fried prawns. House special excellent fried prawns, divine, aubergine chips,...

Great place for tapas...packed with locals and the busiest place on the street. If you like seafood you're in for a treat.
Always jam packed with locals, but venture on in (maybe with a little muscle) and order away. We had excellent (free) tapas w our beers - prawns, battered anchovies, padron peppers and calamari. Did I mention it was a free plate with every drink - crazy!
It's always full of people and busy so you'd better try going there as early as possible! Actually after we entered, within ten minutes, this place was getting already full. Very good choice for a couple of beers with some tapas-surprise! We got some mushrooms with garlic which were pretty good, some fried fish (probably small smelt), and fried vegetables...everything...
