Very small, narrow restaurant which is always jam-packed with hungry customers, especially locals. Although busy, service was quite quick and the food delicious and fresh. Fried octopus is nice, also the cuttlefish, you can get a massive plate for a mix, which is 15 euros and beers are cheap. Don't expect anything fancy and you'll be lucky to get a... More

It seems caotic at a first glance, but as soon as you relax, you will not be disapointed. This place is always packed with people from all ages and countries, families, big groups, couples. It is small with few seats, but if you arrive before the peak hours, you will find a place to seat. If not, standing up bar... More

This is an absolute must. Popped in for a beer and a snack on our first outing in Granada and came away unintentionally stuffed. Didn't realise the free plates that came with every beer so ordered a half ration of mixed fried fish as well. Superb. Yes its a bit daunting to the uninitiated but if we can do it...and... More

There are two Los Diamantes. We went to this one, which is virtually standing tables on the recommendation of our guide at the Alhambra. We arrived at 1:30pm to find the place packed with locals. We didn't see a single tourist and they spoke not a word of English. No matter. We snagged a table in the back alley and... More

Standing room only at this crowded, narrow bar as locals and tourists alike struggle with good humour to find a space in which to enjoy a cold refreshment and a fishy snack. The prices are very reasonable ( a glass of beer & a tapa for 2€) , the fish is fresh and cooked to perfection so what's not to... More

The most authentic tapas bar you will find in town. Good food, agile service, and unique ambience makes this place a must in your visit to Granada.

Don't be dissuaded by the crowd at lunch or the lack of seats. And don't be discouraged by the menu which is filled with the ubiquitous fried fish typical of Spanish tapas joints. Do stand at one of the bar tables or, with luck, you can snag a seat at the bar. You will be delighted by the fish which... More

This place is recommended in guidebooks and as it often happens it spoil the authenticity and raise the prices. This place is crowed (not in a cosy way) it stinks of deep-fry oil and the tapas is almost all deep fried or dwelling in oil. Would not recommend it or go there again!

We stayed two days in Granada and the first night headed directly to Los Diamantes, which is recommended by the Lonely Planet guide. This place is very tiny and crowded, by tourists and locals, but we found it lively and typical. We were two and ate while standing at the bar. We drunk one beer and one sangria, served with... More
