Authentic

The only real tapas bar on Calle Navas is this one, proper spanish service (you have to fight to get served) and real bar space (ie none, you have to elbow your way in). Lovely food, served without pretence.

Very good tapas restaurant. Just wanted a beer and some food and they knocked it out of the park. Very good service from the waiter as we ordered a rose from the menu as we were assured it was dry but too sweet for us so he substituted different wine and did not charge for the first one as we... There are three Diamantes in Granada. We tried the two smaller ones, which are basically standing room only. They were fantastic. The sea food tapas were to die for. Full of locals which is a good sign. The larger of the three is more like a restaurant than a tapas bar, so we gave it a miss.

The food was fabulous, the place was crowded (mainly with locals) and the price was fair. The service may be a bit hasty, but it is well-intentioned. Free tapa while waiting for the ordered tapa.

We were staying in a holiday apartment and the owner told us that it's a place locals go to. So when we were at plaza Nueva we saw the place and went in. We were disappointed to realize that there were NO localas. My husband is Spanish and that is the closest to local you could get that day! However,... More

In this Granada tapas bar I had the opportunity to try the traditional use of having a drink and being served a tapa of barman choice. I enjoyed fried anchovies, paprika boiled octopus, fried squids and raw shrimps.

The shrimp, fish and vegetable tapas were all delicious! We managed to grab seats at the bar and enjoyed watching all sorts of plates coming from the kitchen. I just wish my stomach would have been big enough to try a few more of them. And despite the hustle-bustle, the bar tender still managed to be friendly. I'm impressed with... More

Great place, fantastic location and spectacular "tapas", mainly fish and seafood. Just in the center Of plaza nueva and in your way to every where. Must visit this bar during your visit to Granada.

My only regret is that I found this place on the last day of my trip. Come no later than 8:30 to get a place by the bar - this is important. Realize that this is a bar. The sea food is the best one can get, it is fresh. I first ordered a big plate of fried sardines -... More
