Come for a different dining experience

Let's be clear, this is not a restaurant. But it has delivered a fantastic dining experience nevertheless. Francisco was a welcoming host. The food was simple, but honest and very very good. The wine pairing was inspired and delicious. A wonderful experience.

Our granddaughter, studying in Granada, made reservations for the three of us to eat here during our week-long visit in that city. This is not your ordinary restaurant, but rather an opportunity to be introduced to the fantastic foods and wine of Andalucia. Reservations are required; there are only seats for 12 people. During several hours in the evening, Francisco... More

This was more of an experience than a meal. Each dish that was presented to us was better than the last. The ambiance was cozy, intimate & warm. The wine & food was amazing. Francisco, the owner, made us feel like we were in his home. He was detailed, funny & a fantastic host. This was our first night in... More

We arrived unannounced and unaware of the well deserved reputation of this place. Venue is intimate and homely. Service was hugely welcoming. Food was fresh, honest, beautifully prepared, innovative without being too fancy. Wines were excellent. Price was relatively high but good value, you get what you pay for. Go for a romantic treat but book a table in advance,... More

Every single dish served was absolutely incredible. I'm still baffled as to how he managed to pack so much flavor into every little plate. The olive oil tasting was one of the highlights of my time in Spain. Francisco is a terrific guy and we were very well treated during our time at La Oliva.

This was our first trip to Granada because our daughter had been studying abroad and we came to meet her at the end of the program. She recommended that we book this tasting and it was one of our BEST nights in Spain!! This is not a restaurant, but an interactive tasting and wine pairing. Francisco is the owner and... More

We booked a table for Spanish food tasting which was a real experience. The owner of the place, Francisco, was really passionate about food and especially about olive oils. We were served maybe more than 10 dishes, all of which were really tasty. Francisco made us feel really welcome and all of us thought this was great value for money.... More

This restaurant was recommended to us. To ensure we had a booking on the night we wanted, we emailed Francisco well ahead and he was most helpful right from the first communication. He accommodated our request for a vegetarian option for one of us and the experience was, as our family members had told us, amazing! Food choices and the... More
