We have just spent the most amazing day with Francisco Lillo Roldan, owner of La Olivia which is NOT a restaurant. What Francisco offers is a dream come true for foodies or anyone who wants a taste of local culture, wine and cuisine with maybe a guided tour thrown in. The choice is yours. Francisco meets with you the day... More

Very cosy atmosphere and friendly owner, presenting the wine and the food. You will eat there not some typical tapas as in other restaurants but it has a price. Maybe a bit high. The wines (5 wines served) were good.

Made a reservation for January 1st, and when we arrived at the restaurant the owner who provides information on the history, culture and wine pairing wasn't there. The wait staff tried to improvise but it was a disaster. We asked what type of grapes were in the white wine they were serving and she said, "white grapes." The food was... More

Went here on New Year's Eve, reserving a table two months in advance. Definitely not a meal, but a food experience. Even in the weeks prior to our dining experience Francisco was in contact regarding dietary requirements etc. This kind of unique service was carried on throughout the evening. The staff are attentive, accommodating, knowledgeable and super friendly. We had... More

We booked months in advance and were expecting a lot and Francisco delivered. This is NOT a tapas bar, not even a traditional restaurant ... no white table cloths or hovering waiters. No menu in fact. It would be unfair to comment on specific dishes, the meal changes nightly based on what is fresh and what strikes Francisco's fancy. Each... More

We made a reservation here before arriving in Spain, and were glad we did. Francisco has a shop in which he sells wine and olive oil, as well as a few other goodies. In the evening he opens the shop for up to 14 lucky people to enjoy his wines with tapas. He explains each wine, along with the tapas... More

I wish there was a food experience like this available in every part of Spain. Francisco puts together a tasting 'dinner' of delicious ingredients and flavours - all sourced locally and paired with 5 different wines. There were more courses than I can remember but each one was fabulous. Even a simple asparagus spear , showcasing Mayo made with local... More

We were really looking forward to this and it's good to see that most people had a great time. Our reservation was cancelled on the day we were due to dine. Bit of a pity as we gave up the chance to visit the Alhambra at sunset to visit La Olivia but when we knew it was cancelled, the Alhambra... More

I've never had any food experience like this one. It was simply amazing. A friend told me about this but I would never have believed it. Five tables, ten people and 20 courses led by Francisco a very charming expert who is sincerely trying to kill you with food. Even he didn't know how many course there were. I alone... More
