Wonderful cosy restaurant

I craved something other than Spanish fried food plus somewhere cosy I could sit alone peacefully and I found it here. I enjoyed a delicious chicken curry with wholesome wild rice and felt very welcome even though I was alone and taking up a table for three. I returned the following two nights with... read more

We were a bit fed up with Spanish food so we came here. There is a wide range on the menu and we had a creamy chicken curry, a fish in tomato sauce and a Sunday roast followed by tiramasu and apple crumble. If you just want a drink, you can choose a generous tapa and a few of these... More

Four years ago my daughter, mother and I visited Granada. Late one night , we got off the tour bus, at an earlier stop than our hotel, to search for a place to eat . I worried that we wouldn't find anything open and we knew the area where our hotel was had nothing open. However, like a godsend we... More

Decided to book this restaurant for Christmas Eve to have a traditional dinner. I couldn't fault the quality of the food, but was disappointed when the turkey arrived swimming in gravy.I may be in the minority but can't stand gravy. Might have been better served in a gravy boat. Also the staff seemed rather disorganised and only setting tables when... More

Just down the street from our b&b and on our way to the grocery store (it was closed) we happened upon this restaurant. Wow, what a pleasant surprise! The English style roast beef was excellent, and the service couldn't have been better. We're here in Granada for a few days, so there's an excellent chance we'll return for seconds. We've... More

I was here a few years ago and they have completely remodeled the place. I came back because the food and service were both great before and it did not disappoint. Owned by and English couple, the wife is a chef and she does a great mix of different kinds of food, all of it wonderful. We went with friends... More

Highly recommended by Paddy's Irish Pub, Sue and her team welcomed us like family and served up a superb meal that was also great value.

A bit of home with lovely Spanish flavor. First timers will clearly see that it is a wonderfully welcoming place; this conviviality only grows on a return visit. You feel instantly at home. The proprietor Sue works diligently to see to every detail of good quality, good service, and good value. The food is abundant and delicious, there is a... More

I first came to Casa Lopez in 2012 as a backpacking tourist, having read in Let's Go that they spoke English (I had been translating for my companion for two weeks). It was a fantastic meal, friendly staff, spotlessly clean, and Sue the owner and her husband Miles are some of the loveliest people I've ever met. They have a... More
