Absolutely to die for - every chocoholic must try these churros & hot chocolate for breakfast. 12.70 Euros for two of us to have fresh orange juices, churros & hot chocolate - it felt so decadent. Lovely square to sit in too with florists stall and fountain and lots of people watching to do.

Decided to have a nice farewell breakfast for our last day in Granada. We did not mind paying a premium for the nice atmosphere and history. We were extremely disappointed. The portions were tiny and my Spanish omelette was dry and burnt! Service was slow. You must be able to do better in plaza bib ramblas

We had an evening meal here. There was an extensive menu and we had a selection of tapas The staff were very efficient and prices were reasonable. Food was good.

We loved this place and came here twice for breakfast during our two night stay in Granada. There is a wide selection of breakfast choice including the freshest churros. We enjoyed tostadas ( toast) with peach jam. Hope you like peaches as this is avery common jam type in Southern Spain! One of Granada's oldest cafés, dates from 1902. Lovely... More

We enjoyed this restaurant more for the service than for the food. Breakfast was good and offered lots of standard options like eggs, bacon, toast, yogurt etc. Unlike other reviews, our churros y chocolate was good although I can't fathom how people drink the whole cup!? Lunch/dinner was just OK. Our server was excellent and easy to talk to. Good... More

My partner and I recently ate at this cafe whilst in Granada! The place is very nice and in a very good location, because of this it's expected that you will pay a bit more. The staff were friendly and all the food we had was good...the churros were among the best we had in spain. I would go back... More

Food can only be called decent. The place is nice, service quite friendly. But the food is so-so, nothing special. The lasagna we ordered was frozen in the middle, although they replaced it rapidly.

We went here for drinks and churros based on recommendation. The churros con chocolate were average (too greasy with lumpy insufficiently warmed chocolate) and not worth making any special effort for. The atmosphere was nice for a drink though.

I might possibly have given this 3 stars, but my overall memory of this place is just bad. I do remember that our starters were actually rather tasty, but none of us could eat our mains. I don't even remember dessert. I do remember everyone being dissatisfied and unhappy at the end of the meal, and wishing we had gone... More

Unbroken service since 1907, looks like it will continue for many years to come. The interior of this city cafe dates back to its opening and adds an authentic charm and atmosphere. The chocolate and churros were good and there was quite enough!
