Quality price ratio for a noon lunch

For 7 euros per person we got chicken soup and a salad, I took calamares, my wife took the garlic chicken with fries, ice cream and a fresh fruit to finish things off. A glass of red wine is 2 euros extra Ask for the menu del dia...hard to beat for 7 euros each.

We have overdosed on restaurant food over the last 3 weeks and this felt like we were being cooked for by family or friends again. Chose the... More

We stopped in Pensión Veracruz for dinner, and had Gambas al Pil Pil, Sopa de Picadillo, y una tortilla de jamón. The gambas was perhaps the most delicious thing we have eaten in Spain -- we were told it was a recipe that has been passed down for three generations. The soup and tortilla were plenty good as well, but... More

Stumbled upon this small restaurant on the walk back to our hotel. It had a menu del dia for €7 +IVA but we went for the single plate plus drinks. The staff were helpful and food was provided promptly. The restaurant is small and was fairly full all the time we were there - clearly very popular. It's the restaurant... More

Had the prawns, chicken with garlic and the best paella in Spain yet! Highly recommend for inexpensive high quality meal in a local neighborhood atmosphere.
