Entwine tradition and vanguard. We perform a traditional Grenadian cuisine, Andalusia, artless, simple but striking, adapted to changing times, using current techniques and products of the soil, seasonal and premium merging the Christian Arab, and Jewish. Our cuisine consists solely of a weekly tasting menu, which defines the sensitivity for cooking and respect for seasonal produce. We also have a wine list with more than 100 national and international references, with particular attention to local wines.

Such a great surprise, we went back the following night

Booked based on a couple of recommendations (guide books backed up by tripadvisor). There is no menu choice - you are presented with a tasting menu and two wine-pairing options (we chose the standard option). Both myself and my friend enjoyed it and it was an enjoyable experience . Anyone who who thinks this place deserves a michelin star has not eaten at a michelin star restaurant but it was enjoyable all the same. Worth a visit, the staff are excellent if the food is a little uninspired. The wine pairing was worth the money.

We selected this restaurant because of an advertisement we saw in our hotel's promotional literature. We visited on the 18-04-15 and our hotel made the reservation for us on the day. We are foodies and look for good quality, local ingredients, cooked well with thought, knowledge and creativity rather than Michelin stars or reviews. The street the restaurant is in... More

We visited Damasqueros on Tuesday the 31st April. It was in the middle of Holy Week. We had booked this restaurant in January so we were quite excited about it. We booked the tasting menu with wines for €59 each( a good meal in Granada with wine cost about €30 each). The waiter was a fluent English speaker and very... More

We spent 2 days in Granada and were very close to giving up entirely on the local food until we found Damasqueros. I should state that I always try to eat whatever is the local food when I'm travelling, and that I'm very flexible... but every single place we tried in Granada left us deeply unimpressed. The variety is simply... More

Each dish is very carefully constructed, a creative assembly of multiple elements in different textures. Nothing was terrible but the food really didn't excite me. Rather than feeling inspired, the combinations of flavours often just felt a bit unnecessary.

My wife and I decided to try Damasqueros after reading the reviews. We booked on line through TA which worked perfectly. The meeting and reception was very friendly and welcoming and we quickly felt relaxed and comfortable. We both went for the tasting menu and I had the matching wines. The amuse bouche was delicious and heightened our expectations. Each... More

We really enjoyed the tasting menu with paired wines. The restaurant is tucked away in the Realjo area and we would never have found it without TripAdvisor! There were 6 courses with the appetizer and the two fish courses especially (tuna and cod) were fantastic. Lovely flavour and the courses somehow had a flavour theme throughout. The service was excellent... More
