Good food to accompany good view

Tough to find but well worth the view once we arrived. The melted cheese and pate appetizers were almost a meal in themselves. We had the duck and veal meals - both were excellent. A very romantic meal with the view and ambiance.

The staff is warm, engaging and very helplful (plus they can speak english quite well). The food is among the best we've had in Spain. It's fairly rare for a place to have hit after hit but everything we had, from gazpacho to curry risotto to the chocolate cake with liquer, was spectacular. Plus its wasn't as pricey as we... More

My boyfriend and I were walking around Mirador San Nicolas and reached this place purely out of chance. Looking back, I am so incredibly grateful that we did. The host, Angela, was extremely helpful. She not only translated all the menu items in to English for us but also set up a table for us separately on the terrace. Essentially,... More

We found this place by a happy accident! Walked in to find a Spanish menu on display but the hostess came out and explained in English. She was thorough but not pushy and left us alone to make up our mind whether to come in or not. We had seen positive reviews on trip advisor before walking in but they... More

We had a wonderful dinner here enjoying the beautiful views of the Alhambra from the Albaicin. After some initial confusion over seating (the lower, outdoor seating was for those not ordering dinner) due to our poor Spanish skills, we got a table with a great view through a clear plastic tent. Our pear salad with goat cheese, mousaka and sweet... More

This restaurant is located up the top Cuesta de las Tomasas in Albaicin, Granada. With an amazing backdrop of the Alhambra as you eat you can't not enjoy. The service is great, food is good depending on what you order - I suggest you try the sweet chicken in puff pastry which was a winner with most of us on... More

We stayed very near this restaurant in the Albaicin so it was easy to walk over and give it a try. The setting is lovely with a full view of the Alhambra across the valley, especially stunning at night when it's all lit up. The restaurant is outside under a covered terrace which was perfect on a warm September evening.... More

It's quite a strawl up the hill from the shopping area of Granada, but it's well worth that. The restaurant only has an outside dining area. It is well recognised for its amazing view over Alhambra from up the hills. The area is quiet not not well discovered by tourists, it seems. The dishes are stylish, though they serve straight... The food at this restaurant was excellent and coupled with the panoramic view of the Alhambra in the fading sunset and subsequent floodlight illumination made this restaurant outstanding. Good choice of food and service was attentive and caring. The cost of the food and drink was extremely reasonable bearing in mind the location of this restaurant. Good English was spoken... More

This place was a real find. we managed to get a last minute booking on the Terrace and it was well worth it. Funnily enough it was pretty much empty until the people who had booked and taken the trek up to St. Nicolas' square had suffered the jostling and the crowds - must be the experience (I suggest the...
