wonderful experience

A wonderful find on our first night in Granada. Wondered the streets and this was open on Sunday night when others appeared to be closed. They were not busy (around 8:30/9) and seated us with a wonderful view of the Alhambra. Able to watch the sun go down and lights come on. Excellent service. Very... read more

One of the best meals I have ever had. Oxtail entrecoat, calamari, chicken were our 3 choices. All exquisite. Entrecoate was the best IMHO. 2 salads, bottle of wine, 3 main courses, 2 desserts, all under 120 euros. If you're in Granada you must eat here. Forgot to mention the view of the Alcazar is unmatched. We were here early... More

We visited three of the recommended restaurants on the Albaicin ridge with views of the Alhambra and found this the best of them, to the extent that we went back for a second visit. The view was probably the best, not least because the covered restaurant is small and all tables have it. In late May the restaurant was by... More

The staff is warm, engaging and very helplful (plus they can speak english quite well). The food is among the best we've had in Spain. It's fairly rare for a place to have hit after hit but everything we had, from gazpacho to curry risotto to the chocolate cake with liquer, was spectacular. Plus its wasn't as pricey as we... More

My boyfriend and I were walking around Mirador San Nicolas and reached this place purely out of chance. Looking back, I am so incredibly grateful that we did. The host, Angela, was extremely helpful. She not only translated all the menu items in to English for us but also set up a table for us separately on the terrace. Essentially,... More

We found this place by a happy accident! Walked in to find a Spanish menu on display but the hostess came out and explained in English. She was thorough but not pushy and left us alone to make up our mind whether to come in or not. We had seen positive reviews on trip advisor before walking in but they... More

Tough to find but well worth the view once we arrived. The melted cheese and pate appetizers were almost a meal in themselves. We had the duck and veal meals - both were excellent. A very romantic meal with the view and ambiance.

We had a wonderful dinner here enjoying the beautiful views of the Alhambra from the Albaicin. After some initial confusion over seating (the lower, outdoor seating was for those not ordering dinner) due to our poor Spanish skills, we got a table with a great view through a clear plastic tent. Our pear salad with goat cheese, mousaka and sweet... More

This restaurant is located up the top Cuesta de las Tomasas in Albaicin, Granada. With an amazing backdrop of the Alhambra as you eat you can't not enjoy. The service is great, food is good depending on what you order - I suggest you try the sweet chicken in puff pastry which was a winner with most of us on... More

We stayed very near this restaurant in the Albaicin so it was easy to walk over and give it a try. The setting is lovely with a full view of the Alhambra across the valley, especially stunning at night when it's all lit up. The restaurant is outside under a covered terrace which was perfect on a warm September evening.... More
