An enjoyable dinner with a nice view

This was our most expensive meal in Spain (78 euros for two of us), but the view is lovely! We started with Cava and then my husband had a black tomato caprese salad and I had an asparagus salad. Next he had lamb and I had hake, a white fish. We also had bottled water and a two more glasses... read more

A local friend recommended this bar to me as one of his favourite spots in Granada. It's location (just under the mirador) means there's slightly less tourists than the restaurants at the mirador. I only had a drink and a tapa, rather than an actual meal- although the tapa was excellent quality so I would go again for a meal.... More

We loved this place! The food was wonderful and reasonably priced, the service attentive, and watching the light change on the Alhambra over the evening was lovely. They even brought blankets for our shoulders when the evening got chilly!

The food and service were excellent, the view of the Alhambra on an open terrace magnificent. Good wine list. A lot of steps and steep climbs and descents so those who have trouble with stairs should be accompanied and factor in extra time; but the effort would be worth it.

The Carmen de Aben Humeya is more than the sum of its parts. The setting is incredible of course. It's right in the heart of the Albaicin which is a UNESCO World Heritage Sight. Furthermore, when you dine on the terrace you have an uninterrupted view of the Alhambra. Finally, the garden, of which the terrace is a part, is... More

After hearing about this place from Rick Steves books as well as reviews here, I made sure to make this our last dinner in Granada. We had visited the Alhambra in the afternoon tour due to a snafu so by the time we got back to the hotel we nearly had to turn around and go back for our 9pm... More

One of the best meals I have ever had. Oxtail entrecoat, calamari, chicken were our 3 choices. All exquisite. Entrecoate was the best IMHO. 2 salads, bottle of wine, 3 main courses, 2 desserts, all under 120 euros. If you're in Granada you must eat here. Forgot to mention the view of the Alcazar is unmatched. We were here early... More

We visited three of the recommended restaurants on the Albaicin ridge with views of the Alhambra and found this the best of them, to the extent that we went back for a second visit. The view was probably the best, not least because the covered restaurant is small and all tables have it. In late May the restaurant was by... More

A wonderful find on our first night in Granada. Wondered the streets and this was open on Sunday night when others appeared to be closed. They were not busy (around 8:30/9) and seated us with a wonderful view of the Alhambra. Able to watch the sun go down and lights come on. Excellent service. Very good food. We weren't hungry... The staff is warm, engaging and very helplful (plus they can speak english quite well). The food is among the best we've had in Spain. It's fairly rare for a place to have hit after hit but everything we had, from gazpacho to curry risotto to the chocolate cake with liquer, was spectacular. Plus its wasn't as pricey as we... More
